I just finished this one... It took me awhile, and i made a screw up with my layers, so i could not apply the background right, but... oh well. here it is.

Thanks, it would have turned out better, but i selected the wrong layer when doing spyros colors.

Did that one a few days ago, but didnt post it due to not being particularly proud of it. i kinda got the horns wrong, and i forgot to add a wratwolf to the mix in cynders grasp.

Finished that one a few minutes ago. the white eyes in the background represent spyros inner darkness, which plays a prominent role in my fanfic.

Indeed. Im trying to figure out how to draw scales effectively... not going so well.

EDIT: Ok, i think i have figured out how to do scales, to a lesser degree.

I basically took an image ive already done, and added onto it.

This one, i like, but am not 100% proud of. i think both dragons are a bit too.... plump, shall we say?

nice job with the scales!! They're really hard to make. And the dark effect in the last picture looks awesome!

I love the dark effects too!!! :3 And it is incredinly hard to do scales its super hard to do with traditonal art and digital art alike!! (I always give up half way into drawing scales and just erase the whole pic ) Awesomeness so far though!! *Thumbs up and a high five*

And I hate doing scales - I'm still working on them, but your first few tries with them, they turned out really well!

Mind if i tell you guys HOW i did the scales? (i use gimp.)

Well, sort of. When it comes down to the backgrounds, i use the brushes ive downloaded (thanks tot those who put them up) in combination with each other to make the effects and backgrounds on my images. kinda ameturistic, i know, but still. i intend to get better at backgorunds, given time.

This is a dragon I created named Sage on paper, but I do drawings on the computer, too.
