Don't know why I haven't posted this here until now, but there's another contest going on at Just for Faun on dA, this time with the theme of dancing Elora!

If you like Elora or just want to do something creative about dancing (writing, drawing, video, sculpture...anything! ), consider giving this contest a look. You don't have to be a member of the JFF group or even deviantART to enter.

Also, I've been slowly posting my interviews with Insomniac character designer/animator Oliver Wade at the group, so if you're looking for some interesting and unusual info about the Spyro games, you can find it here. There's also a bunch of videos and fun little things scattered around the group, mostly related to Elora but with other tidbits about Spyro and Insomniac scattered around.

Our next contest will be starting in mid-August and will be Skylanders themed in honor of the upcoming game.

I don't see how you could write about a dancing Elora...

Yep, you can definitely write something! We don't get many fics about Elora, so every one of them is pretty awesome.

I can think of dozens of ways to write a story about Elora dancing, Fireball. Anything from a cute, fluffy one-shot to a multi-chapter epic with dancing as a major plot device. You just have to use your imagination.

Also, SB, I never got that note from you, so I'm not ignoring you, it just didn't go through. I wanted to make sure you knew that.

Guess I'll explain here. Basically, for private reasons, I can only confirm broadband access every second weekend. In between that, I use my phone to come here, but I can't access dA. So I couldn't check the link, and can't send that note for a while.

But at least I know I this contest is open. Might keep myself occupied with something for it!

I wanted to do a Labyrinth parody for the contest(the title reminds me of that one song from the movie) but the deadline is approaching too fast for me to do anything worthwhile.

I might just do it anyway when I feels like it.

Not me. I'm already a lesbian, though, and there are a few reasons why Jareth isn't quite who I root for when I watch Labyrinth.

Eh, he shouldn't be who I root for but my excuse has always been "it's David Bowie, he can do what he wants and still be sexy!"

It always looked like dancing to me and professional ice skaters do their routine to music, so sure.
