Oh god, that happens to me all the time. It's twice as bad when you actually want to draw, but can't think of anything. i was thinking of drawing random shapes and making some picture out of that, but can never bring myself to do it since my brain likes to have mental battles with its self apparently.

Indeed :c That's the worst. When you're in a drawing mood but you can't figure out where to start or what to do. That happens to me too much.

I've done that before, just for the fun of it, but it just comes out as some stupid looking four year old looking drawing for me, haha.
Or I do this thing where you randomly put dots all over and connect them, then make something out of that. But pretty much the same results

I usually have plenty of ideas for art, probably too many. Also, I feel a lot of my ideas would draw unwanted attention if I actually let them come to be. Nothing dirty now, but I just shy away from emotional pictures. People worry about me too much. Because a lot of my ideas are more deep and emotional now, I can never just sit down and draw them.

I have those moments all the bloody time.

It really is. And when you feel like you never have any motivation doesn't help in times like that. Same here. It's like a long term art block.

Well kudos to you for being able to do that. even if it doesn't come out great.

Another thing that really hits hard is when you have a mental image that seems great, but can't get it on paper.

Thanks. That spartan helmet looks really good. That thing has always seemed really hard to draw for me. The tiger(?) looks great too. although i think the paper has seen better days.

lol thanks Ha the the reason why it's so crumpled up is because I needed to fold it up for it to fit in my school bag so I had something to do at a bus stop (there's only two of my friends that live near me and they only ocassionally get the bus home nowadays )

Again, really good! And I agree with you on the hair part. It seems to be the only hair I can draw.


It started as a sketch and I ended up spending the whole day on it. I went all out with the hair. :I
