I like the name of Spyro, it's an unusual name, I've never heard of it before I played the game, or heard it from anything else since.

I heard one of Insomniac's reasons for giving him that name was an italian restraunt named Spyro's something. Also, there is a band called Spyro Gyra, right?

Spyro is in latin and means 'to breathe fire' I think they got it from that, never heard of the rumour where Insom got it from a restaurant, and also I never heard of that band.

The lead singer (I think) was asked by a bartender on what their band name was so that he could put it on a sign. As a joke, he said "Call it spirogyra," which is a type of algae that he studied back in school. The bartender took the name and placed it on the sign as 'Spyro Gyra', for he had a mistake in the spelling. The name stuck with them ever since.

The strange part is, the name has nothing to do with Spyro. That would be epic if they actually made an official band for our lovable Spyro. It would advertise the games, and it fill Spyro fans with awesome music that could be put into the games. I swear, Spyro games need more rock music.

Stewart Copeland made Spyro seem even cooler with his music, he also made the beat go with the way Spyro runs in my opinion. I'd love a restaurant where Spyro fans can hang out, that would be nice, you can just chill out, talk, just stay there for an hour, it would be an easy way to make friends since there is something in common you can talk about.

Game too far into development to cancel.

Movie had too many ****ty developers to be any good.

i like spyro, gill grunt and trigger happy, i luv spyro foreva no matter if he is well,, weird, the only thing that ruins spyro is a diffrent name, diffrent color and wayyyyyyy difrent plot, thats how thats NOT spyro, just becuase he looks a bit diffrent dont change that he IS spyro,

I put none. *shot*. Cause I don't like the game... ALL the good guys look like bad guys, and vis-versa.

Did you notice, that dark never checks his pm box, back to the sud.. Spyro will most likly get more games, but if it fails, spyro may never come back/ I'm worried.

Doubt it. ETD was an epic fail of epical proportions and they still made AHT. Some other random company will pick it up again if it fails, which it probably wont since it's targetted at 6 year olds... They'll buy anything!

They didn't invest as much money in those two as they are in Skylanders. If it fails, they're out of business, unless actvision decides to take Spyro back and return him to the Purple dragon we know and love. Ether Spyro, anyone would like to see the older Spyro if this Skylanders thing does down. Most likely not.
