Well I was doing a Google search on trying to find a Spyro the Dragon poster, and I just came across that website which someone has uploaded full of collectibles of Spyro stuff, and it's an awesome site to look through.

Take a look: http://download.lavadomefive.c...jeca/index.html

I was talking to the owner through e-mail, he seems like a friendly person, I didn't expect a reply back from him to be honest, I asked him to send me a clearer picture of the magazine so I could read the words, and it is awesome, once I have his permission, I'll post it on it, and perhaps the e-mail conversation, if you want to be nosey. smilie

Hopefully he does send you a clear picture of the magazine. =3
( I'm curious to know what it all says for "Building a Better Dragon". x3 )

And now i'm looking through all of the stuff in the collections. I never knew that much Spyro stuff existed. :'C

He already has sent me the clearer version, but I'm still asking for permission to use it on the net, I haven't got an answer yet. I did receive the other answer at 1 in the morning, I suppose we have to remember that me and him live in different time zones.

Same here, some of the stuff on there gives me a feeling of nostalgia and happiness.

That is as clear as I can get them for the net, you can get it even more clearer, but you'll have to decide that for yourself, you can contact him at his website and if you ask nicely, he may give you a clear copy to keep.

Thanks SSF. . . It would appear those little notes are written in cursive / unique hand writing. . . I guess I'll have to ask the guy if he would be so kind as to write those out. . .

Also for those who are too lazy to read what that passage says I'll add it with this post:

Quote:
Dragons are supposed to be fierce creatures, Tolkien would tell you that, as would St. George, and anyone else who's seen the Komodo variety up close. Always aloof, usually intelligent, and generally ill tempered, these beast for centuries been used to frighten children to eat their vegetables, avoid strangers, and coming home when the street lights come on.

Perhaps it is precisely because of this long standing reputation that in more recent years the dragon of lore has been transformed into a sweet, misunderstood creature that just wants to be loved like anyone else. From the misadventures of Pete's Dragon's gentle Eliot to the hallucinogenic ballad of the "magical" Puff, the backlash against the long despised lizard has turned him into a caricature of his former fierce self.

At first glance, Spyro the Dragon may appear to continue this trend. His features are certainly more Disney than D&D; his childish proportions and adorable awkwardness make him an instant hit with the "awww-isn't-he-CUTE" crowd. The world he inhabits is a colorful one, filled with over-sized inhabitants and plenty of slapstick comedy. And he's the star of his own game, for Pete's sake! (Yes, that was a pun, and a not a bad one, either.)

But before you dismiss the tyke as another syrupy-sweet mascot for the underage masses, take a closer look. Could it be that he's actually working against the trend? Sure, he's cute as all get out, but underneath the cuteness is the heart of a fighter and a belly of fire. Sure he galumphs around like a day-old kitten, but get him going and he'll bowl over even the largest enemy. And sure, he may inhabit a cartoon world, but hidden beneath that colorful veneer is a depth of challenge that only the most intrepid will truly explore.

Didn't buy that last bit, did you? I don't blame you; the first Spyro, through well received by the public, was criticized for offering little challenge for the seasoned gamer. But guess what? Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage is coming, and the little guy's got more than a few tricks up his sleeve.

I like the Anatomy part the most. It explains how Spyro breathes fire. smilie Well, I already knew that.

How Dragons Breathe Fire:

Dragons eat a variety of different things each day. It doesn't matter what a dragon eats, it will always be digested. When the food is broken down into digestive juices by the dragon's stomach acid, it sort of turns into an acid-like substance.

Dragons use this to their advantage. When a dragon enhales and exhales, oxygen flies in and out of its body. This oxygen, when mixed with the acid-like substance, can cause a fire to sprout out of it's mouth. Us humans cannot breathe fire because we don't have a spinal tube (shown in the model) that can bring the substance out whenever we want.

Just popping in to say that this is from a 1999 issue of EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) and what you're seeing is the first two pages of a six page article. I have the issue, but it's currently in a different state. If you guys don't have it all by October/November, someone can shoot me a PM and I'll try to scan it for you.

I do just about anything to get some of what he has=did you notice that its all the clasic Spyro? you should ask him about TLoS and Skylanders....= It sadans me that not a lot of things went out for TLoS, I would have been more aware this time(if they had, I wouldn't know). I want a Spyro T-shirt

Okay, it turned out that I had the magazine here all along. smilie I found it while I was packing books for the move. I've got the cover and all six pages scanned. The only problem I've got now is that I have nowhere to post it. Any of you have any spare web space (I hate Photobucket and ImageShack, so I'm not using those)? Or I can pack them all in a .zip file and link you guys to it.

If anyone wants to post the pages out of the .zip on here, feel free.
