Okay, pretending like that didn't just happen...i feel really bad. there's no words to describe how sorry i feel right now. I promise i won't ever leave you all for anything. You're all some of my best friends. *hugz*

okay, my mom is forcing me off the computer half an hour early for whatever reason and she won't let me finish up the chapter. I promise to have it up tomorrow unless something happens.

I stood in a hall, just a few steps away from a giant doorway. It was difficult to see anything with all the darkness, and I had to strain my eyes to make some sense of my surroundings. There was a shadow next to me, but I knew exactly who it was. I wouldn’t have been where I was if not for him. He was my last friend, my last reason to fight, my last reason to live in this new world. When I had resolved to find my favorite video game characters, I wouldn’t have been able to imagine what was happening around me now. But my motives were now clear to me, and there was one thing I had left to do before my-our-goal was complete.
“Are you sure she’ll be in there?” I whispered to the shadow beside me.
“Positive.” He answered. I couldn’t help but worry. This seemed too easy…
Too easy, yet I didn’t question it. Verbally, anyways.
We walked through the door and into the giant room. Even in the darkness, I was able to see a little in the room. And there wasn’t anyone there.
“Positive, huh?” I asked.
“I could’ve sworn she’d be in here.” My friend said in a frustrated tone.

(all i could find, sorry. hehe...' just ignore the video clips)
Speak of the devil. Literally. A black dragoness seemingly appeared in front of us.I let out a small gasp and took a step backwards. She was still as scary as the first time I saw her. Maybe even more so.
“So, you decided to come?” She asked and started to laugh. “You just walked to your deaths.”
As if on cue, red eyes started to appear. It was like a movie, but heck of a lot scarier. My eyes widened when I realized whose eyes they were.
My friends. My friends who I thought had died. My friends that I constantly thought about. My friends that had endured with me the dangers of being a half-dragon.
No, I thought. Those aren’t my friends. They aren’t themselves. I struggled while trying to take in the fact that they were dark. I had to fight them. There was no other way.
I was pushed over by Karen. I felt my wing being ripped, and I flung my tail blade towards the attacker. I heard a yell and took that as a cue to escape. I kept myself from looking at my wing. I would see how bad it was later. After all, I was still busy with my life-or-death battle.
I wasn’t able to dodge when Rose used her fire breath. My back leg was nearly black with burns. The scary thing was, I couldn’t feel it.
Then it finally dawned on me. I wasn’t going to live. There was no way I could fight of all my friends. Even with Fyre’s help, I was screwed. I was going to be killed by my best friends.
“Fyre, get out of here!” I yelled. I wouldn’t let him commit suicide alongside me.
“No way I’m leaving!” He replied while still fighting.
“You have to!”
“You should listen to her.” Meaghan growled. “She’s a smart girl. She knows there’s no hope.”
Fyre looked at me with a surprised and perplexed expression. “You really think we’re doomed?”
I felt a wave of sadness and embarrassment wash over me. But it was true. “Fyre…” I was cut off by a burst of pain in my side. I turned to see RC standing a few feet from me, blood on her claws. She smirked.
I could barely stand at that point. My legs were dangerously close to giving out from the pain and blood loss. It took all my strength to stay standing. Shadow knew that I was almost dead already.
“Leave now…before you get…hurt.” I said weakly.

Fyre was hit before he could respond. Kaitlyn had lunged at him and swiped his shoulder with her tail blade.
“No!” I yelled desperately.
“Goodbye, Fyre.” Rose said in the cruelest way I’d ever heard. Then she swiped at his neck. He let out a gasp and fell backwards. I could only look on helplessly as blood poured out of his neck and shoulder, bringing him closer to death every second. Tears blurred my vision and I felt my heart stop. Rose grabbed Fyre’s dead body and flung him out of sight.
My eyes were still glued on Rose. She had killed her own brother. I felt hate go through my blood. How could she? It didn’t matter to me anymore weather I was dark or not, I hated her. I hated her with a burning passion. A red haze bordered my vision, and I jumped at her with the last of my strength. She was caught off-guard and fell under my weight. I bit her neck and hung on for dear life. She tried to shake me off, but I refused to let go. Soon I felt her strength fading and soon she stopped moving all together. Only then did I release my grip on her. There was blood everywhere. Rose’s blood. Fyre’s blood. My blood. I turned towards my other friends-no. My former friends. They saw the burning anger in my eyes. They knew I was determined to kill all of them. They backed away, fearful of what I would do to them.
The red in my vision slowly started to go away, and I realized what I had just done. My friends were afraid that I would kill them. I suddenly felt guilty. I was as bad as Rose.
While I was distracted, Meaghan sprung forward and pushed me over. I winced when her claws scratched my beck. The wounds weren’t deep enough to be deadly, but they still hurt like heck.
“Stop.” Meaghan froze her tail in mid-swing. Shadow walked up to us, her amber eyes had a malicious glow to them. My heart was pounding loudly in my chest. What was going to happen?
My question was soon answered. A dark purple light began to surround Shadow. I saw Meaghan run away from her. I didn’t blame her. But I was stuck lying on the ground, unable to move. My legs wouldn’t obey me partly from fear, and partly out of pain and exhaustion. I was forced to lie there, defenseless, while Shadow unleashed a deadly fury. The light engulfed me and I felt immense pain.
Then everything went dark.

I gasped and sat up, my eyes wide. My heart was beating much faster than normal. I sat for a minute or two trying to convince myself it was just a dream. It had felt so real. The pain, the fear, the anger, all of it. I glanced at Fyre, who was lying on the ground next to me, sleeping peacefully. Only then did I release the death-grip I didn’t know I had on the grass. I sighed in relief. He wasn’t dead.
I looked up at the sky, a gentle breeze helping to calm my nerves. It wasn’t that much later than I had first fallen to sleep.
“I will protect you, Fyre.” I murmured softly. “No matter what happens, I promise I won’t let you be killed.”
I lied down on the grass again and drifted off into a more peaceful dream.

I have come back from a vacation to a different world.(just so you know, this was before i was grounded, but it's still left a mark on me) This world was called Fanfiction. In this world i learned that i have average writing skills. It was while i was grounded i learned that i indeed am able to improve, and I do with every chapter i write. And in this world, i learned that 1,210 words is slightly on the small side for a great writer! *face/palm* well, technically speaking, when i first started FSAC the chapters usually didn't even reach 500. I'm not saying that the amount of words really prooves the quality of the writing, but i'm at least glad to know i'm making some progress, right?(my writing now has changed from this, and i made this maybe a month ago. Yeah, i know. Shoot me, since that was longer than how long i've been grounded. Like i said, i was on vacation.)

you never know how much you miss something until after your reintroduced to it.

trust me, i've felt that way a lot. It tends to happen on Fanfiction.
I'll type the next chapter tomorrow. I definately won't make it by tonight.
