Tundra: Oh boy he's breathing gust again better act now! *he said as he flew straight at him using his body to increase his speed then flipping over his head and grabbing his neck behind him. Having his tail blade glowing purple now up to his throat* Move and I'll kill you instantly with my poison!

Aretis growled again. "Murdurer."
"Ha! You all were so weak anyway." Vrathx sneered. Flashes of light suddenly burst toward Aretis. Vrathx turned around and threw two orbs of darkness. Some of the lights dissipated. Three other lights absorbed into Aretis. Vrathx growled. "Your plan won't work." He created a shield of darkness over them, completely black. Aretis stayed calm. "I don't think so." Aretis countered. He mentally ordered the other Aretis's that were coming to him to cluster invisibly outside the barrier.

Dragon: *chuckles* do you really think you could defeat me? i am a highly valued and proud servent of the one and only Queen Slean. i am one of her best minions, and i am proud to have her as my queen. *grins, and then turns to shadow, slipping through Tundra's grasp. he became solid a few feet away* now, i must continue my mission, and catch that baby dragon, for my queen commands that i do so.

Tundra: What?! mom ordered you capture that dragon? No way!! I wont let you do that. *he said as he spit poison spikes at his back.*

Vrathx started crushing Aretis in his grip. Aretis let out a planitive cry. Aretis suddenly put his plan in action. Aretis let out a short concentrated amount of light energy and punctured the dark shield. Light streamed in and was quickly absorbed. Aretis flashed and exploded. Vrathx fell back with a cry. Aretis was floating unharmed in the air when Vrathx could see again. And he was mad. Suddenly the aura around Aretis flashed black and white. Aretis growled. "you killed my ancestors and friends. Want to know why you thought the light dragons were so weak? That's because we swore not to use the full extent of our power. Except me." Aretis's eyes glowed black. His usually green scales darkened and his skin started to turn grey. The straight horns on Aretis's head turned bloodred. Aretis growled and transformed with a battle cry. Aretis turned into Dark Aretis.

Dragon: *dodges the attack* you have no say in the matter. i have specific orders to capture that little dragon, and i intend to do so. *uses fear breath*

Dark Aretis was beyond reason. He never knows what happens when he goes in and out of this stage. This was how he avenged his mother's death at such a young age. This was **a few times he kept the forces seeking to destroy him at bay. Aretis, who is usually shy and timid, but loyal and brave, let's out the rage he bottles up here. In reality here, he wants to blow up the world for being so cruel to him. No one has by far defeated Dark Aretis. He gains the power of darkness, but loses his earth ability. However, when he combines light and darkness, he makes the ultimate element. (which I don't have a name for yet...)**

There was no chance of survival for Vrathx. But he didn't know anything about what he was up against.

ooc: there's only one weakness to Dark Aretis. Betrayal. That's all I will say. Sorry if it's a little god-moddy...but it's sorta like Aang's Avatar State. It'll only last an hour before it ends. Oh, and friends can calm him down as well.

ooc: that sounds really cool. and its ok if it sounds a little god-moody, as long as there are certain aspects that don't allow him to be like invincible all the time or whatever.

the young dragon ran and ran, crying out of fear. she didn't want anyone to catch her. Firefly kept running, trying to keep up.

ooc: thanks. I'm BACK!!!!

Vrathx charged at Dark Aretis, swinging his claws like deadly scythes. Dark Aretis suddenly disappeared. Vrathx hit empty air shocked. Suddenly Dark Aretis appeared behind him. "You monster." he growled. Vrathx was suddenly catapulted into a nearby boulder, cracking the boulder and being buried halfway into it as well.

Tundra: Yeah, well I may have no say but I can still stop you!! *He said as he used his ice shard attack to counter his fear attack.*

Dragon: *is about to use a diffrent attack, when Rouge teleports beside him. he looks at her and bows* Miss Rouge, what a surprise. i have not captured the dragon yet, i--
Rouge: save your excuses, Krone. Mom sent me here. she said she wants you to return, regardless of failure.
Krone: what? why? has something come up?
Rouge: she didn't say. she just said to come get you and-- *notices Tundra is there* Tundra, what are you doing? wern't you heading back to the ice kingdom with Firefly? *looks around* by the way, where is she?

Vrathx came out with a growl. "You'll pay for that runt! Grr!" Vrathx shot 15 darkness lasers at Dark Aretis. He knew no one could dodge them at their speed. Dark Aretis dodged them. He suddenly appeared from Vrathx's shadow and sprung up and for a second, time slowed down and Dark Aretis was right in front of Vrathx's face. Dark Aretis yelled. "This is for my home!" Vrathx didn't even see the attack coming. Dark Aretis slashed and Vrathx went flying, blood spurting out from his face where he was hit. Dark Aretis suddenly appeared in the path Vrathx was thrown to. Aretis growled. "This is for my friends!" Dark Aretis spun and his tail blade sliced clean through Vrathx's wing and Dark Aretis also did a flying uppercut kick thingy and sent Vrathx straight up in the air. Vrathx couldn't fly. He helplessly flailed his limbs about, his only thought: How is this happening? Dark Aretis appeared above him though Vrathx was going like 1000 miles per hour (hyperbole). Dark Aretis yelled. "AND THIS IS FOR MY MOTHER!!!!" Dark Aretis head smashed in a fury of light and darkness into Vrathx. Vrathx's body completely broke from the impact. HIs scales cracked, the hard bones inside his body...broke. It was over. Vrathx smashed into the ground. But Dark Aretis still wasn't finished yet. To spheres appeared in front of Aretis's palms. One completely black, the other completely white. His gems pulsed radiantly and almost seemed to be bursting out.

Vrathx, who was miraculously still alive looked up weakly. "Please...mercy..." He begged. Dark Aretis looked down with his soulless dark eyes. He fired the spheres.

Tundra: Well I was until me and her noticed your grunt here, trying to capture a little dragon, so I intercepted,because he seemed like he wanted to hurt the dragon.... but firefly went after the dragon to calm him down.*he said eyeing his sister abit as he looked back at krone*

Rouge: he isn't a grunt, Tundra. he is one of Mom's top minions. by the way, Krone, why did Mom ask you to catch that dragon? she doesn't usually bother with young ones.
Krone: she just asked me to bring it back alive. i did not need to know more.
Rouge: alive? hmm, she must have a plan. anyway, just head back to the lair.
Krone: yes, Miss Rouge. *bows before flying away*
Rouge: *sighs* great. now its my job to catch the little dragon...

Vrathx vaporized. Dark Aretis flew down and smashed the place where Vrathx was. He roared triumphantly, letting an ear-piercing shrill that resounded across the area. Then, the 20 dragons arrived. Dark Aretis looked at each of them, and smiled evily. They slowly advanced on Dark Aretis, forming a circle, for no escape. Dark Aretis wasn't going to escape, he was going to kill. One lunged in and struck with his jaws wide open. Dark Aretis didn't move, but caught both jaws with his hands and tail, then split the dark dragon's jaw in two and severed it's neck. Dark Aretis then shot a dark beam at the corpse and it dissolved into black goop into the ground.

Tundra: What? Rouge.....you know I cant let you do that...*he said to her in a unemotional tone*

Dark Aretis dispatched the other 19 dragons in a deadly gruesome battle, leaving none alive. One of the dark dragons even tried to run away, only to see himself staring at his own blood before he died.

Rouge: Tundra, i have a job to do. i don't have time to chat. i have to find that little dragon before Mom gets impatient, which is never good. besides, she wants it brought back alive, so she's obviously not going to hurt it. i mean, we don't know what her plan is. just 'cause she asked a minion to catch a little dragon, doesn't mean its a bad thing. but i have to find the little runt and take it back to Mom, because she needs it for some sort of plan.

Dark Aretis's rage ended when all were killed. Another Aretis who'd escaped rushed and absorbed himself into Dark Aretis's body, giving him a little more power. Suddenly, the dark aura vanished from Aretis. His eyes turned normal, and Aretis floated to the ground unconscious.

the young dragon kept running, very much afraid of being caught. Firefly was right behind her, trying to keep up. she wondered who this dragon was, and why a black dragon was after her.

Aretis dreamed of being back home...before the ambush...before the killing. He was in his own den, beside his brothers and sitsers playing happily. All was calm, all was bright.

the young dragon continued to run, but Firefly was closing in on her. she then leapt at the yellow dragoness, tackling her and pinning her to the ground.
"please don't hurt me!" the young dragon pleaded, fearfully.
"i'm not going to. i want to help you. i just needed you to stop running so i could talk to you." Firefly said. "now, i'll let you up if you promise noe to run, ok?" she asked. the young dragon nodded slowly. "ok, good." then Firefly let her up. they sat for a minute in silence. "now, why was that dragon after you?"
"i don't know.....! i don't even know that dragon.....! i was seperated from my family, and then he came after me......! he said he wouldn't hurt me, but i didn't believe him after i saw what happened with my family, so i ran......! but he chased me........! he said he would have to use force if i ran again.....!" she explained, crying.

His father, the mighty Xrail flapped his wings and returned to the den. The wind of his landing catapulted Aretis backward giggling into his mother Aurilis. Aretis flopped to the ground laughing happily. Then the scene changed.

"what happened to your family?" Firefly asked. the dragon sobbed.
"........they were killed........ i watched them die......... many black dragons, a whole army of them........ they attacked us, and our forrest home......... they destroyed everything in sight...... and they killed my family........ i barely managed to escape...... i don't really know how....... i just..... i saw one come for me, i got scared, closed my eyes, and poof...... i was somewhere else......." she explained, sobbing more.
"i'm sorry about what happened. it sounds like you teleported to escape. and those dragons sound like Slean's minions. do you have any idea what their plan is?" she asked. the dragon shook her head as she cried.

Everything was dark. Aurilis was screaming. "Aretisss!!!!" Aretis couldn't move. He saw his mother in chains, a claw poised at her neck. He wanted to rush and help, but he couldn't move as the scene disappeared. Xrail appeared. He was covered in some black goop that was slowly engulfing him. Aretis heard his firm, sturdy voice. "Aretis, run! You're all that's left. Protect the-" Xrail was cut off as the goop completely engulfed him. Aretis cried out. "Dad!" The goop dissolved into the ground.

Then Aretis woke. It was just a dream. Aretis curled up where he was and cried.

Firefly wrapped a wing around the young dragon to comfort her.
"what's your name?" she asked, softly.
"....Electra....." she muttered through tears.

ooc: haha, name sounds like torok's character! Nice! Electric dragon!

Aretis stopped crying after a while and shakily got up. He went over to a river nearby and drank from it thirstily. "I need to find a light crystal." He muttered. Aretis suddenly woke up to the reality. How'd he get here? What time was it? He knew he had hibernated and he remembered waking up to Vrathx...right...where was Vrathx? Aretis scanned around but could not find a trace of him. Aretis tried to remember what happened when he fought, but just drew up a blank.

ooc: hehe, i didn't plan that, actually. the name just sorta popped into my head, so i used it.

"are you an electric dragon?" Firefly asked her. Electra nodded slowly.
".......yeah...... but my parents....... they said i had other........ 'gifts' ........" she whispered, still sobbing.
"gifts?" she asked, a bit confused. "did they say anything else?"
"........only that i was speacial........." she cried.

Aretis sighed. Well, at least his plan worked, but it left him pretty drained. Aretis absorbed light in copious amounts, the air darkening around him a bit because of the lack of light. Suddenly a dragon grabbed him by the neck and yanked him up, beginning to choke Aretis. Aretis saw it was another dark dragon. The other one had called reinforcements. Another dakr dragon was coming up with a large tail blade. Aretis couldn't think. "Firefly! Help me!!!" He cried out. His vision started to blacken. Aretis sent a swift light message locked onto Firefly's telepathy signature. It said the same thing he cried out. Aretis kicked and struggled, but the giant dragon firmly kept him away to do any harm. Aretis was losing.

Firefly had gotten the message.
"Aretis! he's in danger!" she cried out, worried. Electra looked at her through tears in her eyes.
"who?" she asked.
"uh, a friend of mine. listen, do you think you could teleport me to him?" she asked, urgency in her voice.
"uh, i--i--i--i don't know..... i've never done that before....." she muttered, nervously.
"well, try. i'm sure you can do it." she encouraged her. then Electra took Firefly's paw, and tried to teleport. but nothing happened.
".....i can't do it.....!" she cried out, dissappointed.
"yes, you can. listen, from what you told me, teleporting is a fear resonse for you, so just get scared, and teleport." she explained. Electra sighed.
"....ok...... i'll try......" she said. then Firefly yelled suddenly, startling Electra. it was enough to cause her to teleport, and the two appeared near Aretis.

Aretis felt his vision blacken. He sent a beam of light. But the dark dragon's scales just deflected it. "No one to save you now runt." The dragon holding Aretis laughed evily, unaware of Firefly ad Electra's presence. The second dragon saw them and stood in the way. "Run along twerps. Nothing to see here." He growled, crossing his arms.

Firefly glanced at Electra and whispered to her.
"you get this one. i'll go help Aretis. create a distraction so i can get past him." she said. Electra gulped, unsure of her skills in combat. she then looked at the dragon.
"hey, dumbo, over here! bet you can't catch me!" she teased, and then jogged off a little ways, glancinh back to see if he was following. while the dragon focused on her, Firefly quickly rushed over towards Aretis, glowing yellow.

The dark dragon scowled. He rushed after Electra shooting dark beams like crazy.

Aretis's mouth hung open in silent scream Aretis's eyes were closed. The first dark dragon holding Aretis noticed Firefly. "Heh, heh. You're friend's dead, girl." He grinned maliciously.

ooc: g2g. Thanks a lot! might be on in an hour or so. c ya!

ooc: ok, bye.

Electra ran faster, dodging the dark beams. soon electricity flowed through her body, and with a wave of her tail, she sent lightening bolts flying at the dragon.

Firefly came to a stop and growled at the dragon.
"not if i can help it." she snarled. soon electricity flowed through her body, and she sent a lightening bolt flying at the dragon.

The second one was hit by a bolt by Electra on the wing. Off balance he tumbled down, but then regained and continued chasing, now flying and shooting exploding missiles ahead of Electra to throw her off balance.

The first dark dragon used his wings and the blow dissapated with the leather. "Oh, so are you trying to shock me? You'll also shock your friend....if he's still alive.

Aretis felt the grip loosen. He started taking little by little, breaths, as to not alert his captor that he was alive. It was painful, but it worked.

Electra got scared by the missiles, and ended up teleporting a few feet away. she then flew up towards the dragon, breathing electricity.

Firefly growled. she then began glowing green, and let out a blast of an earth breath at the dragon.

Tundra: I dont like this.... rouge I cant believe im related to you guys sometimes.... *he told her as he looked around not knowing what to do.*

Rouge: look, i'm not going to hurt her. and if my mom plans to do so, i'll help the little dragon escape. but since i don't know what the plan is, i'm going to go through with it until i know for sure what Mom plans to do with her. anyway, i've wasted enough time, i've got a little dragon to catch. see ya. *teleports away*

Tundra: Wait Rouge I.... dang it...shes gone... I better go find firefly I think they went this way. * he said to himself as he flew in the direction where firefly headed towards last time.

Rouge: *teleports to a forrest clearing and looks around* hmm, if i was a little yellow dragon, where would i be....? *mutters, then closes eyes. grins and opens them again* hehe, i've got you now, runt. *teleports again. appears near Firefly and the others. looks around* ooh, a fight. but where's that little-- ah! bingo! *sees the dragon, flying. she teleports to her nd grabs her* gotcha!
Electra: help! let go of me! *electricity flows through her and she shocks Rouge*
Rouge: yow! *drops her. groans* rotten little runt shocked me! *dives to catch her*

Tundra: Flew as quickly as he could as her tried to catch up to firefly and the little dragon.

Dark Dragon #2 is hit and momentarily stunned. When he recovers and sees Electra and Rogue fighting he blasts both of them with a sphere of darkness

Dark Dragon #1 is sent flying by the earth missile and Aretis flies out of his grip

Aretis feels total slack and takes copious amounts of oxygen recovering then looking to see his rescuer. "Firefly! You heard!" He smiled.

Rouge: *catches Electra right before she hits the ground, and lands. then is electricuted again* yow! *lets go*
Electra: *dashes forwards, and turns sharply* leave me alone! *growls, then sends a powerful lightening bolt at Rouge*
Rouge: 8is hit, and lays down, electricity flowing through her. groans* ........ugh............ can't............. move............. blasted runt......... paralyzed me.......... *grunts and groans*
Electra: *takes off running*

Dark dragon #1 was getting up angrily and made what seemed like some foul-dark air around him. He pushed the dark cloud toward Firefly and Aretis using his wings to propel them toward. Aretis leaped in front and made a shield of light around him and Firefly. However, this was exactly what the dark dragon wanted to do. He quickly set up 20 dark spheres to surround the light ball so if they escaped, they'd get blasted, while he went to call reinforcements.

Tundra: Soon saw a lightning bolt appear out of the forest he was heading too.* oh boy I better hurry!

Firefly looked around, seeing several dark spheres all around them. she thought a moment, thinking of a plan.
"maybe if i can channel the dark dragon's powers, i can get rid of these dark spheres...." she muttered. she looked over to see Rouge paralyzed, and Electra was gone. "Rouge, can you do anything?" she asked. Rouge looked over at her.
"other than talk, i'm done for the count, red. that little runt of yours got me good." she muttered.

Aretis growled. "Hold your breath. The dark cloud is poisonous. I'm going to lower the barrier. Aretis knew he had one shot at this. If it didn't work...well...he'd be in a lot of trouble.

Dark Dragon #1 lowered his neck, gathering his energy for the sky-piercing call.

Dark Dragon #2 pursued Electra, bombarding her with bombs of blackness and beams.

Firefly held her breath, hoping Aretis could lower the barrier.

Rouge just lay there, paralyzed, helpless, and relieved no one was after her.

Electra kept running, barely dodging the attacks. she twitched her tail, causing electricity to fly at the dragon.

Tundra:*looked down and saw rouge laying there motionless. He flew down towards her and thought the worst.* Rouge? Rouge?!

Rouge looked at him.
"oh, hey, you caught up. the rotten little runt paralyzed me. what i want to know is how she's strong enough to do that. i mean, she doesn't seem all that strong, then wham! here i am, laying helpless. all i can do is talk, thanks to that good-for-nothing little dragon." she grumbled.
