It's because of the Spyro fans who aren't members of Dark Spyro who think Skylanders brought "the end of all Spyro", when in reality, it's all in their heads.

They don't have to like every Spyro product, but at the same time, the majority reasons they don't want to play this game and their attitude about it is what sets me off and makes this fanbase worse than the Sonic fanbase.

Because it seems nowadays people just play games, watch movies, and listen to music simply to complain about it, even when there's no real reason to.

There was someone who did a comic (name hidden) which wasn't the usual predictable "some evil shows up and Spyro and Cynder get rid of it" and picky fans started hating it 0_o
These days, so called fans get pickier and pickier (if that's a word )

You all are right. There can't be a Spyro game that is perfect for everyone... And the design rage is ridiculous. :c

I bet it's the childish and immature children voting for it's the end of all Spyro.

As I said in another post, I don't really like the new look, but, if the story is good i guess ill get used to it!

The problem with that is, that people preffer a fun gameplay, it doesn't matter if the story is not any good. I preffer both elements good.

Well, tbh, from the info I've seen, I'm not really liking the looks of it, but that's just me. It would be a good theme for another game, but I'm not so sure about a Spyro game. I'm not so sure about Spyro's new design, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. The graphics look pretty good, and some of the new characters that I've seen look quite awesome. (GRYPHON FTW!)

However, this is just from information that I've got, though; I'll wait until I've actually played the game before making a judgement.

Well his scales should either be one color, or a bit of the second one. It looks like he has some sort of disease.

I don't mind the spots because I just automatically assume they are the scales, but fair enough if that's what you think, I think I can see what you mean though.

His feelings have already been hurt by all the people that say the game sucks because of his design.

anyway, not really gonna get it, sure it seems nice but it just isnt a "spyro" game, seems just more like they threw him in there randomly, and i am still a bit doubtfull because of the totally crap replayability on DoTD and wildly varying difficulty, i could not even finish burned lands without dying atleast 3-4 times, compared to the earlier stages where i had to focus on actually managing to die.
there were some things on the last stages that werent even introduced on the previous ones, for example the turrets that shoot the crystals that the chain attaches to, it just feels a bit stupid when having something so potentially dangerous and not even mentioning it earlier or even right before the stage, it isnt even mentioned in hints

You're right, but that's the case with many things in reality, don't you think?
Though, I do agree they should have at least carved it onto a Ruins of Warfang wall(somebody needs to investigate the carvings for references, seriously). As easy as it was to figure out, I was absolutely stumped when I was first "canonized". :S I wasted so much Mana trying to get out of it.
