That was nice. We were just normal for a moment, enjoying ourselves. We don't get to do that much, even now... long story there. Then again, I'm telling you it. Anyway.... The good times always had to end...

Just as we relaxed, Shaun's head jerked up, and he suddenly tackled me. I yelped, slammed backwards as a giant THING landed right were I had been sitting. It hissed, whirled around, and hissed again, snakey eyes pinpointing on me. It spread leathery wings, and raked the air with one clawed paw, like an angry, very scaley cat. I stared, and Shaun made me stumbled backwards. "What the he-- IS that!?" He shouted, waking the kids up. Rima was awake in seconds, shaking her brother awake and dumping Lina on the ground.
"That's what we were hiding from! You led it right too us!" She said, accusingly. I glared.
"You never said that you had a DRAGON trying to kill you!!!" I shouted at her. She glared, and I felt her poking in my head, and thought brick wall. She was gone that fast.
"I didn't think it would matter, but turns out you were leading that thing!" She snapped. Lina sat up, shifted back to her little girl form, and rubbed her eyes sleepily.
"Mmrr?" she muttered, then saw the dragon sitting there, staring at us. I think it was trying to figure out why we weren't screaming in terror, but were argueing among oursleves. "Hey, what's that?" Lina asked, pointing, totally unafraid.
"Oh, that? It's a dragon, ignore it and it'll go away." Shaun said, shrugging.
"Oh... Okay." Lina said, and curled up. Now the dragon looked really confused, looking at us all in turn, then sitting down, miffed. It made a chirp noise, somewhat sad. Koto blinked at it.
"...I'm scared of you, if that counts for anything..." He muttered, and the dragon looked a little less miffed. Rima and I continued to stare each other down, glaring and ignoring the others. Imagine that, me, a mature, powerful bird girl, staring down-or trying too-an 8 year old bird girl, not even half grown.

Poor dragon ... It's too awesome to be terrified of.

We glared... and glared... and glared some more. I wondered if we were going to keep this up all morning, when the dragon let out a tiny sigh, and suddenly shot forwards, snatching me up around the waist with one big paw, and shooting into the sky. I am sad to admit that I screamed like a girl. I know I am a girl, but i don't scream like one. Except that time... Anyway. The dragon flapped into the air, let out a loud screaching roar, and shot off across the sky, still carrying me. I struggled, flapping my wings frantically. I couldn't do anything. the dragon's claws were biting into my side where they met, and I grimaced, trying to keep myself from gettins skewered. Through all of this, I was wondering just WHY a dragon was in the Great Plains of the United States. What the H was a prehistoric, possibly mythical creature doing in modern US!? I couldn't stop thinking that. I was also starting to hyperventilate, which is REALLY bad when you have oversized lungs like all bird kids do. To much oxygen, way to fast. For some reason, I started to glow again. At first, nothing happened, and I looked back, still panicing, and saw Shaun and the twins flapping after the dragon. It looked back too and roared, jetting fire at them. they dodged, and the hot air shot the upwards. Shaun recovered fastest, and flapped harder, gaining speed like mad.
Suddenly, he blurred, and shot forwards, a BOOM sounding loudly as he broke the sound barrier. He slammed into the dragon, smashing it downwards. It roarede in pain, and we fell, free fall. Its claws were still locked around me.
"SHAAAUUUUNNN!!!!" I shouted, reaching up for him uselessly as the dragon dragged me downwards. I struggled, and my glow intensified. The dragon's paw smocked where it touched me, and it roared again, letting me go. I flapped frantically, but I was in free fall. "SHAAAUUUUNNN!!!" I houted one last time, before the drastic change in pressure knocked me out cold.......

Hey! It's not funny! It seriously felt like my skull was being split open by something, from the inside, and only on the back right area of my head. It was a fierce, stabbing pain, and I have no idea how I kept from crying or something...

i usually get headaches, sometimes for no apparent reason. they're normally mild though. during the spring and summer, its usually the sun that causes my headaches. sound can also cause them. sometimes i don't have a clue why i have a headache.

Haven't been out in the sun, it was completely quiet, I always know why I get headaches. This is highly unusual for me. v-v

hm, well, like i said, they're pretty normal for me. heck, my last headache was over the weekend while i was going out to eat with my mom. we were in the car, the sun shining through the windows, and i got a headache.

Then, she just looks at us as she paws the object off the table. She has the "What are you gonna do about it?" look.

My cat thinks we're such morons.

She once wanted some cat treats, and yowling at me for them didn't seem to make me understand. So we went to the garbage can, dragged out the little strip of plastic that's used to seal the bag, and dropped it on my feet.
