I really really hope the game is a sucess, but i can see Spyro getting ruined with the skylanders story :'(


This is a reboot, Summer. You can't expect every old character to appear at the start of a reboot. And Skylanders does a have a storyline..

Well, for all we know some of the old characters can appear as NPCs...but I think Activision is trying to add more focus on the newer characters to see if they'll become new fan favorites and a demand for more games in the future.

I have a feeling old characters will come as part of the 16 characters being released in 2012.

I don't understand the point of that. Maybe they will release a Crash Bandicoot game by then.

Crash is dead. LoS didn't sell very well, but it sold better than the last two Crash games.

Surely they would do something for Crash? Wouldn't they? It's a bit strange to ignore Crash but continue with Spyro. I wonder if they could have added Crash within Skylanders?

About the old characters thing... I kinda don't think any characters from any of spyro's previous games will appear. It's possible but, it's a Skylanders game more then a Spyro game in a sense, if you know what I mean.
