Spyro's design in Skylanders being horrible in the eyes of some of the Spyro fanbase.

Actually, it was a simple opinion, then everyone started complaining, not even bothering to discuss it in a mature matter. It's this topic all over again. >.>

Anyway, I personally love Spyro's design in the concept art, but not as much in the game. Fix that muzzle, then I would be satisfied. However, when I look at this new Spyro, no matter how much I try, I always think of it as a different dragon....

It's not nearly as bad as that topic.. I hate when people bring up old topics like that..

i think it too early to hate the new spyro i am going to give this game a try when it comes out and if i don't like this spyro

The design doesn't seem finished... at least in the game. I get the feeling that the design will be getting some touch ups prior to release. So I have no opinion at this time. <.<;

^That's something nobody seems to get. The game isn't even close to being finished.

I'm with Spyroo on this one. Truth to tell, goblin Spyro is, so far, the only thing I really like about the game (the levels seem okay but nothing spectacular, and I kind of hate all the other characters I've seen thus far). His design in this game is okay with me, but I have trouble remembering that he's actually Spyro. His design and character are definitely more primitive. What angers me though is that you have to buy every single character to be able to play as them. And there are what, 31, 32 characters? And of course, the little kids they're marketing this towards are going to want every single one. Money-greedy jerks...

Also, there appears to be no other characters from any past games besides Spyro himself. These new characters are just... no.

And for some strange reason, I want to draw the new Spyro lizard-sized, riding somebody's shoulder. Or climbing onto their hand. :3 Maybe, just maybe, that would make some of the haters like him a little bit more.

They are angry at a design.

And it's funny how they send the hate mail to Activision. If you're going to hate something, at least email the proper person.

When I first saw A New Beginning's Spyro, I imagined his storyline involving something like, "He's not as pretty as the other young dragons, but he can save the world!" No joke. When I see Skylander's Spyro I knew he wouldn't be winning any beauty contest, but then again, what cartoon character does? I think we forget that a 'realistic' dragon model wouldn't fit in a game they are trying to make. It probably wouldn't have worked too well in LoS either... So the ugly factor that exists in our new Spyro is most definitely a deliberate artistic flaw. We just need to suck it up until we are used to it.

He has his adorable moments in-game, though; namely when his portal clip plays :3 I'm sorry, but that little growl and those cute movements are too much for me too resist!

It's not nearly as cute as watching Conker look at nude anthro art or play a Gameboy!X3

Thats what I was thinking, it doesnt look quite polished. I expect a few little tweaks here and there.
