Ahhh....the Classics...
They had a familiar, yet unique feel to their gameplay. And the music was so catchy, and the worlds so colourful. Not to mention all the minigames!smilie

Yes.
I personally prefer the originals to the newer games...
I favor StD mostly.

Still the best games, IMHO. I'd love a return, but I'm not holding my breath. Skylanders will hopefully keep me entertained for now!

I hope Insomniac takes back Spyro and makes more Classical games, but I suppose that Activision has made some entertaining games, like Skylanders...

Origenal Spyro fans? Never heard of those, but I have heard of Original Spyro fans. smiliesmilie

I agree. My fave was YOTD. The games just went right down hill after ETD.... They should have just left the games alone after ETD. They're just milking it now. But I will give Skylanders a try. Looks pretty good.

Classics, the great ones. :) To be onest i havent played a LOS game yet lol. GTG was my first Spyro game, one of the best. ;)

Still the best games in the series IMO and some of the best platformers of all time. smilie

The only game in the series that comes close for me is DotD.

Dawn of the Dragon is the best Spyro game since the original trilogy.
Better? No.
Awesome? Yes.

I love the original games! Best one for me is the second game. After that, the first and third game. Hopefully Skylanders will be just as good as the classics.

I'm hoping that too. I don't care about the other characters - You can play as Spyro all the way through if you'd like to anyway.

The Classics were the best. To be honest, I'm starting to like the Classics better than LoS now, although I still like LoS.

I love the classic better the LoS I did not like how thay mady spyro in DotD that got me out of spyro for a long time and now there is a new spyro game it dose not feel like spyro any more

Spyro the Dragon was an example of a simple game with awesome smeared all over it.

The classics were what got me into Spyro in the first place. Yeah, the games weren't that original, but they were a great evolution in 3D-platforming at the time. Plus, they had SO MUCH CHARM. Yeah, the games were made for the younger ones, but they are also so timeless that they can be enjoyed by anyone at any age.
