It's not like nobody whined about the TLoS design or anything, you guys..


And the same fans across the internet that complained about TLoS Spyro's design are some of the fans getting angry about fans complaining about this design because they actually like this design. If anything, they should understand now how TLoS fans felt. >.>

Yeah if you dont like the game then dont talk about it or play it, unfortunatly you cant do nothung about it. Just hope the next game isnt based on skylanders.

I agree that his design is REALLY ugly, but I don't really care about that compared to the other reasons I hate it.

It's like ANB. Fans complained about Spyro's appearance in that game, but they eventually grew used to it. Now it's happening again with Skylanders..

Selfish? How is complaining about a money hoarding, fake Spyro game selfish? You may be tired of people complaining about this game, but don't belittle our free speech by saying were being something were not.

I meant about some fans outside of Spyro forums who are now complaining to Activision about the Spyro game they should deserve to have with everything they expect it to be in it. The people in Toys for Bob worked hard on this game, and the reward they're getting right now for their hard work are hate emails from some fans who don't like Spyro's design and the gameplay that are still working in progress and will likely change during production.

I find it kinda cute and cool at the same time. A mixture or old and new spyro with a focus on a real dragon. I nice happy medium is what they we're looking for maybe?

To me, it looks like he got hit by a bus while getting plastic surgery creating wierd and intresting features. Its not bad. Its not great, but I can stand it.

Then again, Spyro is a dragon, there are no limits to what a dragon can look like. Well few limits. Basically saying, the dragon is what the creator wants it to be. If that is the new style, it is the new stile.

Why argue about it if it is not going to change at every whim.

Guys ok the design aint the best ok, but look at it this way. this and i can bet this game is just a spin off, think about it if it wasnt then why would the game logo where spyro's name is isnt like the others from the beginning? why change it now? because they are trying to take this spyro in a new direction and not brand him as spyro spyro you know. so let it go guys i aint happy about this game one bit either but it is what it is.

It's that darn muzzle of his that annoys me. It makes him look like a pug.

Actually, I meant that everyone on this topic is complaining because of one simple comment.

Didn't we already discuss this in another topic that BH_W made, that was about TLOS? About people taking it in in a mature manner? Did everyone forget? >.>

Ugh. I've seen journals made like that on dA where they complain and call the new Spyro garbage and tell them exactly what they want up to the smallest detail. One particular one wanted you to be able to play as Spyro and Cynder's kid. Do they really think the Spyro games revolve around them?

People over at the Sega forums had a topic about Spyro's new design and when me and another guy on there said we liked the new look, they thought we were trolling them. And most of them never played Spyro. <.<

His horns remind me of Malefor's.

I know it's your opinion to hate the Skylanders Spyro, no need to repeat yourself. But some fans take their 'opinions' about it too far and make them sound like facts...

I knew from the moment I saw the new design people would be bashing and complaining about the game.

But what gets annoying is when people try and make their opinions facts, and complain because they wanted a very, very specific new Spyro game.

I also don't like it when people say it looks stupid/dumb - It just sounds so immature....

I'm with Spyroo on this one. Truth to tell, goblin Spyro is, so far, the only thing I really like about the game (the levels seem okay but nothing spectacular, and I kind of hate all the other characters I've seen thus far). I like the blending of Insomniac and LoS designs with completely new stuff and his little goblin growls are great. He's ugly, but it's in the chihuahua "so ugly it's cute" way.

The only thing I don't like about the new Spyro is that his face looks kind of brutish.
Kinda like how I would make a heavy hitter dragon enemy.
In short he kinda looks like the villain.

His new design is kinda cool in it's own right. It just doesn't look like Spyro himself should have it. He looks too much like a common enemy as opposed to a lead character. Not to mention he has got Sonic style eyes.

The design would be more widely accepted if it weren't Spyro, but it IS his new design.. But his vicious kinda looking face kinda reminds me of Malefor Not complaining.. I still think he can be cute..

Looking head on I can agree, he looks kinda cute, and he kinda looks like Malefor.
But from the sides and top, it looks a little squished. The traditional Snout was, lets say, set back into his head, making the head rounder in general. I think that he now looks more dog like.

I actually think he's adorable!

I know how you feel. I'm being picked on over at the Sega forums just because I love Spyro's new design. If this gets to me too much.........I don't know what to do after that..........

Eh, ignore 'em. From what I've heard, Sega forums aren't exactly full of the most mature of individuals.
