Okay, let's call this a week long beta test and get this started. Anyone who wants to use a mostly done redesign can now choose it in their profile, just change the Style selection to from 'Set' to 'Seven'. Let me know what you think and what is broken. Thanks.

EDIT: So far, everything seems fine. But pages seem to be loading slower... 'Course, that might just be me. My Internet's been kinda slow today...but still...

The only thing I've got to mention so far is this:

The poll on the side like this has made a rather big gap. It kinda bugs me as I scroll down the page of a topic but maybe that's just me being picky.

Other than that, the new look is fine.

It also seems like the errors go away when you switch skins.

Compliment time~

The new icons for the games are great, simple and yet appealing.
The color scheme is excellent.
The way you set up the header and information box is wonderful.
And the only thing that seems like a con is the gap thing.

Oh god, please tell me there will hopefully be an option to change between having the menu left or right...

Other than that, it's quite a punch to suddenly receive, looks nice, though some complaints would be the menu on the left (for me), no images for the very top menu bar and the gap inbetween the header and game list.

It's great that you've put some of the vital links ("home", "forum", etc.) on the top, and the pointing arrow that appears when you lay your mouse over them is a nice touch.

So far right now, things to point out:
- as everyone else has already said, the left-hand column that is host to forum links and the poll is a very bad idea, since long pages result in what's actually a column of a useless void
- you can certainly find a better font for the top links ("home", "forum", etc.) and probably a better color for contrast - the font is quite skinny/unsubstantial; it's probably actually better to create better-looking images to serve as "buttons" for those links (a redesign for this would also probably require a matching redesign in the pointed arrows as well)
- minor thing: posts made by dark52 include a faded Spyro image that seems rather tacky because the size of the image is often cut off by short posts (and you rarely make long posts anyhow)
- the page that appears after you make a post seems also seems to have a large grey void of space below the links that take you back to the forums


Two main things really: 1) the left-hand column should be moved or eliminated entirely (with its contents being presented elsewhere), and 2) the presentation of the site is way tackier and often clashes with my eyes (i.e. smooth large grey space contrasted with a bright yellow/red/whatever; thin fonts, etc.)

- The forum rules are not in bold and they are not paragraphed.

- The search results (not forum search) are cluttered.

ON TOPIC: ill be sure to try it out. I will let you know how I like it.

Some of the header images may not work with the search bar. Namely the malefore header. The search bar blocks out his eyes like a censor bar.

Otherwise i like the change. (the poll void doesnt bother me, but im not on a pc.)

It would be cool if you had the sidebar scroll down with you as you go down pages. Like on some sites the images do that.
