Classic's tone is light and easy going, LOS' is dark and serious

Classic's music is upbeat and composed of synth voices, LOS' is like a movie soundtrack and made of choir and orchestration.
Classic's gameplay is platforming, free roam and scavenger hunting, LOS' is button mash combat and mostly linear.
Classic Spyro is confident and happy go lucky with a side of wise cracks, LOS Spyro is quiet a little unsure of himself and always doe s as he's told.

Look. A few years ago, LoS fanbrats were the only ones getting bashed, because they were louder. Now the Classic Nazis are louder, and are being more forceful about their opinions, since most LoS fanbrats have moved on. Granted, LoS fans hope SK takes place in LoS, but they aren't as loud as the Classic Nazis, nor have I heard any of them planning to boycott the game if it takes place in the Classic universe.

And why rule out DA and YT? In the end, it's all a part of the internet, therefore, Classic Nazis are all over the internet. Don't try to weasel out of this.

Funny you mention Spyro 2, I just replayed it today for the first time in ages, and completed it. Double jump glitch helped me complete it rather fast.

No no no! It was DarkCynder who said that! I'm saying that Classic FANS get bashed too much, but I'm not saying we should Bash LOS fans to be equal. I just think people need to acknowledge that LOS fans fight and flame too. I bash LOS because I dislike the games, being equal has nothing to do with it.

I don't know... I mean, TLOS is really only considered a Spyro game because it has 'Spyro' in the title, and the main character is purple. If Legend Spyro would have been a Gold Dragon (which I think sounds epic) or something, and if he would have been called something besides 'Spyro', I know things would be different....

IMO, A Gold Dragon would actually be better than a Purple Dragon. I don't know..... but Gold Dragons seem to suit the title, "Special dragon being born once every ten generations' a lot more than a Purple Dragon. Gold sounds more special and epic...

I don't know if the fighting has stopped or what but... There's something I want to quickly say before it dies down quickly. Spyro LUVA has a point when she said something about bringing up problems happening on other sites. If it's not happening on this site, then why complain? It's not really our business unless we're involved in the arguments, you know? If the flame war is happening on youtube, and we're not involved, why not just ignore it? It's the users on that site's problem to fix, not ours. We should just see whats happening on this site, and nothing like people have mentioned above is happening on here, so why should be complain? Yes, this site is going down hill (I still believe that we need mods. It's stupid how we don't have any. Every site needs at least one mod), and there are some flame wars on here between both fanbases, but we should be happy that at least we don't have people complaining about which universe SK is going to be in. We should be happy that people are talking about it in a calm matter. The wars on here aren't as bad as other sites, we don't have people swearing at each other (and we don't have any perverted Cynder fans), so we should be glad.

Now that I've said my part.... *looks for popcorn in the kitchen*

It is relevant to talk about arguments on other sites because:

1) We go on these sites. The wars and stupid comments are just as annoying(in fact, more so) on those sites as they are here.
2) Classic fans asked for examples of Classic Nazis going nuts and we gave them some from here as well as other sites.

Also, I don't see how perverted Cynder fans were ever a problem....couldn't you all just ignore their comments?

Guess what? darkSpyro is a large portion of the Spyro fandom. What happens in the fandom will eventually reach here. And this kind of stuff has happened here on DS regardless.

We are aware that LoS fans fight just as much. But they've moved on to other games like Halo, CoD, or Sonic. They aren't talking as much as they used to. They've finally calmed down. But the Classic fans refuse to do the same. Do you understand the words coming out of my mouth? Because it seems as though you take one piece of my arguement, and completely sidestep the piece that actually matters.

And once again, darkSpyro is the Spyro fandom, which also resides on YT, DA, and other Spyro forums. And once again, this stuff has happened here.

This time, I want you to read the entire post before responding again, because I'm tired of having to repeat myself because you don't want to respond to the main point I'm making. Ironic that people should be arguing on a topic thats meant to be peaceful, isn't it?

But, when you think about it, it's dumb what we're fighting over... We're arguing about whether other arguements are our arguements (lolwhut?)... But there's no point in getting worked up about it, since there's always going to be someone with a different opinion. Plus, we take this for granted; if I were to be surrounded with the amount of Spyro fans there are on this site, I'd be ecstatic, whereas on the interwebs...

I find it funny how it's hard to just be quiet and go on topic. Although, I suppose I shouldn't be the one to say this. .__.

Yet every time we do manage to get back on topic, the war just starts up again.

It seems like every topic all over the sites that I go to always lead into flame wars like here. Just look at this topic for example. It's ridicules.

^ The flame war is rather small compare to other ones (where users swear at each other), but one person can't say that one series is better without the other fans complaining. It seems to be impossible to respect their opinion. Both sides suck, not the games, the fans. >.<

Yes, but it's all talk. I haven't seen any proof or links. I believe all of you, honestly, but I need links to see how bad it is. Because at the moment, I haven't seen any classic fans going to the extreme (sp?).

Also, as for the statement about ignoring the Cynder perverts, why not just ignore all the other things? If it's that easy to ignore the Cynder perverts, why is it so hard not to ignore the Spyro fantards (TLOS and classic)? Not so easy, isn't it?

I agree. They have such a cliche storyline, and it's all cheesy. And the battles are all button-mashing. I also find it hard trying to keep up with the story-line, which was confusing to begin with. Not to mention I don't like half of the characters. The only thing I like about it is the fact that Cloud and Sephiroth make a good appearance.>.<

EDIT: I forgot about the cutsceans. To many of of them. Kingdom Hearts 1 was distant, but the the second one was chock full of cutsceans and it had hardly any game-play, especially the start where you play as Roxas.

It's the superior Action RPG IMO

I'm a big KH fan, but I know it's not a game for everyone(what game is?). I really want the 3DS game though.....
