Age Limit. [CLOSED]

Okay. I while I was looking through the User List, I saw a profile. The person Must-Not-Be-Named. (I think) Then, I saw the age was 2011. He/She would be pretty silly to just do that.

I'm pretty sure that was denied a while ago. And you could just put in a fake age to get around it.

I know countless people who lied about their age to get on Facebook or YouTube, so ja, it would be pretty useless.... :B

Okay, if there were an age limit, it should be 12+. But here's why there shouldn't be:

1. If a kid wanted to join, they could just fake their age. I saw a nine year old on Facebook once!
2. No offence, but Spyro is a game focused for young kids. I'm not suprised that lots of kids join this site.
3. Lots of times, adults/teens are just as immature as kids, so it wouldn't really matter

And I'm not a kid, so I'm saying this to defend myself. I just think that an age limit isn't right.

It would be pointless anyway, considering people can lie about their age plus putting an age limit on a website for a game that's never made it above a 10+ rating would be rather redundant...

This is normally an extremely sensible idea for just about any forum, but the fact that darkspyro mainly does cater to a very young audience, you'd cut down at least half of this site's traffic in this case.

Heh, I didn't know how to use the internet by myself until I was about 8 or 9, let alone have my own email adress. So I highly doubt many other kids would, too.
