And that's completely fine. But there are a ton of glitches in the Wii/PS2 versions not present in the 360/PS3 versions.
...I might get the Wii version if I ever have some spare cash.

Thing is, when I look on the net, I see more on 360/PS3. Which could explain why Wii received the highest rating.

Trust me, there are lots of glitches in the Wii/PS2 versions not present in the 360 version. Some of these glitches are ones I would LIKE to perform.

And I think the game got lower ratings on 360/PS3 because it's not a shooter...

These shooter games are really spoiling companies reviews. I mean, no matter how much I dislike DotD, I still don't think I could give it as low as 59% ._.

It's not all bad though...I have seen some good, positive reviews on 360/PS3, and even ones that exaggerate certain good parts of the game!

I think it's a good thing. Things don't often turn out well when you try to please a shattered fanbase like that of Spyro. Also, even if we all wanted the same thing, it might not be best to try and deliver if they didn't want to do that already. The reason being that if they tried to force it in there, it would likely feel forced. Or if they really didn't want to do it, they would do it poorly due to the fact that they didn't care.

So yeah, IMO, they should just make a game they like that they call good.
Still, I'd like to know how a person becomes a focus tester for one of these companies. Does AV even do focus testing, or do they leave that to the developer or what?

I think they should at least listen to fans somewhat.

Sega didn't listen to fans when making Sonic 06, and that game was terrible.
They listened to fan critisism for Sonic 4 and delayed it by half a year...and the game was even better(I know this first hand as I have played the alpha build of Sonic 4, and it was initially the version going to be released to the public, and I have the final release version too).

They also listened to fans when making Sonic Colours, and that game was awesome.

But isn't the sonic fandom a bit more... together? United? Agreeable? IDK what the word is; don't they mostly share similar opinion on Sonic, save for the few that rant and rave about small things?

The Sonic fandom is more divided than the Spyro fandom....the only reason I consider the Spyro fandom worse is that there are a lot of awesome fan remixes, movies etc, in the Sonic fandom.

Halfbrick Studios listen with Fruit Ninja, and the game is beyond epic.

But because there is no majority and flame wars would begin during idea discussion(NAW MORE PLATFORMIN, MAH WANTZ FIGHT), it'd be difficult to pull off with Spyro.

Not really...the Sonic fanbase is actually a bit better since Sonic 4 and Colours. If they could please Sonic fans, then they can SURELY please Spyro!

Easy...they draw the pictures and say they are under a certain age. Word of this "kid" spreads, and everyone looks at the pic to see if it's any good...in other words, attention whores might do it...

Could be, but that's notnecessarily true; Ten year olds can have good art skills.
Also, it's not all that hard to believe that ten year olds would think of that these days... I mean you can hardly turn on the TV without hearing or seeing something vulgar, and alot of the time parents don't pay the attention they should.

I know, ten year olds can have good art skills. In fact, drawing a sexual scene would make them better artists(help them get more accurate at anatomy).

And yes, younger kids find out about stuff earlier now. Even if a Spyro game is 7+, a sex scene could still get in the game, as LBP1 is also 7+, and has 2 sex scenes.

Not only am I ashamed to like DotD because of the pervs, but they also have to ruin my enjoyment of Dead or Alive. I'mma say this once, and once only: Dead or Alive is originally a fighting franchise in which the 5th installment should be in development. But noooo. People only know about Xtreme Beach Volleyball, which is a piece of crap. It seems as though nobody knows the fighting games, which are actually pretty good.

Yeah, fans complain about things the game probably doesn't have. For example, some fans will only complain if the design of DotD Cynder doesn't appear in the game, or little details from the Classic Spyro games weren't used properly in it.

Well, Dead or Alive Dimensions on the 3DS is a proper fighting game, and it even has a Metroid themed stage!

I'm not ashamed to like DotD at all. Sonic has tons more pervs after him than Cynder, and do I care? Not at all! How other people view a game is not my concern. All I really care about is the gameplay. This is coming from someone attracted to Cynder too...

I don't see Spyro as pink in DotD, and I play the Xbox 360 version in Full HD...

It's actually not just for toddlers. Lauren Faust confirmed that the new series was partly meant to entertain the adults and their children of all ages.

I don't get why people can't just control themselves. As someone who could be considered a "Cynder perv", I find it very easy not to say "disgusting" things. I only do it in more obscure topics where everyone is at it anyway.

I know what you mean. tbh, I haven't even seen a really bad Cynder perv.. aside from multiple artists, but they usually just keep to themselves. Although once on dA, I was asked to draw a "dirty/sexy Cynder picture".. I think I told you this at one point
