Cynder is my favourite fictional character, not because of how she looks in DotD, but because her character was interesting in ALL THE GAMES! She is the one character, not 3 different ones. Although I am quite fond of her appearence, especially in DotD, that doesn't dictate my opinion on her or anything. That's just not my style...

Ok, I went to the PS Store on my PS3 yesterday to look for a copy of StD and YotD to download for my PS3, but it seems they're only available in the US store and not in the EU store (where I live), but I just read an article that StD and YotD are coming to the EU store soon, so fingers crossed it'll be real soon now I read Tekken 3 is coming too, looking forward to that too.

Sure. They said PEGI (European rating system for games) finally rated the PS1 Spyro games (and a few other games) and that it'll only be a matter of time until they will be released to EU PS Store. I hope it's very soon, cuz the announcement was made August 2010.

That may well be the case, but I hope they won't let us wait too long though, I'm dying to have the 3 old Spyro games on my PS3, I also have all the old classic Crash Bandicoot games by Naughty Dog on my PS3, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot are still my favorite classics of all time.

Well, I just generally dislike ETD, at least compared to other games....just wasn't mah thing....

ETD gameplay it as good as identical to its 3 predecessors, or don't you like the first 3 games either?

ETD was glitchy, so I didn't really like it...and *in Sonic voice* "IT'S TOO SLOW!!"

You are so right, there are indeed tons of reasons to hate it; Many glitches, very slow (Spyro and everything for that matter moves very slowly), poor character designs, characters poorly animated, etc...

Don't get me wrong, I don't like ETD either. Even though the gameplay is the same as the first 3 Spyro games, there are plenty of crappy things in this game that make it just... terrible

According to some fans out there, the type of games they like, that had changed to try something different, means to them that the game they like isn't their favorite anymore since they like keeping things the same.

I also hate people who love something just because it's from a certain franchise, albeit less...

And when somebody says you aren't a true fan of a franchise just because you dislike something in it...

ETD is awesome, anyway. So many memories!~

It's ironic that some fans think both series Spyro fans are missing out on the franchise, when it's the one-sided fans who are really the missing all the exciting changes.

Well I'm definately not missing anything fantastic from TLoS, lol, I've been through those games once, and that's enough.

Yeah. I like TLoS, but I wouldn't say it's 'exciting'.

Although Aura, I've never heard anyone from one side say that....

I've heard Classic fans say stuff like that all the time back in 2009, on Youtube and on other Spyro forums.

Ah, but that was then. This is now. I've never seen them say that though, closest I've heard is the 'how can you like that side of Spyro' arguement we still get today sadly.

I agree. ETD was good, and I'm not afraid to say it, unlike the people who dislike it because they think it's the cool thing to do. It's way too underrated, and it's actually an enjoyable game, and I'm not even forceing myself to like it. I did at first, but now I can go ahead and enjoy it easily. The music is great and it makes me want to clap my hands to the beat. Yes, it has it's flaws like DotD, but it's still manages to be a really fun game to play. Totally worth the hours spent on it.

*facepalm* It's the same with the TLOS fans too. I've ran into far too many of them so many times that it's just not funny anymore.

I know it's the same with the LoS fans, DarkCynder, through a Classic Spyro fan's perspective. I know they haven't played the originals, due to little reasons. I don't want a war going on here, especially on this topic.

We're not as bad as you think.... I can make up a decant conversation with any classic Spyro fan no matter how much they're obsessed with the games.

I just hate it because I didn't find it enjoyable. I'm not sure about others though. I don't see any proof that they hate the game because they think it's the popular thing to do?

I remember when I was young, kids at my school used to go around saying that it sucked. I asked them why, and they said amongst the lines, "I dunno. Everyone else hates it."

When I first discovered TLoS, I didn't even give it a chance because I thought Spyro looked funny on the cover, and it just looked so.. different. But hey, I ended up loving it!
