I think that going for Buddy System with doubt would be a waste. Even with cheats on, it would be annoying to get.

I had the Infinite Health and Mana cheats on, and I was breathing lots of fires on enemies and I unlocked an achievement for that, I can't remember what it's called. EDIT: Maybe you should try it? But you'd need to delete the whole file off the 360, otherwise you'll still have the achievements unlocked, so it's up to you if you want to take that risk, but I'm almost certain that the achievements do not deactivate themselves when cheats are on.

Buddy system was meant for two players, so if you do it properly, it's fine.

Actually, I can just start a new profile. And by files, I meant the progress files in the load menu.

Well, actually, the reason I know about it was because the Activision Customer Service told me when I was trying to activate cheats, but I'll give it a shot in my spare time anyway. I think you unlocked Master of Fire, because maybe cheats only block achievements not given by completing a level, beating a boss without dying, etc., or maybe it was because you only had those cheats.

I don't have a clue, but I only use those two cheats, I find the other kind of pointless.

I don't see no GBA compatability as a bad thing. It's the next generation Ninty handheld, so it's to be expected.

DSi was just an upgraded DS for the more casual market. That's why it doesn't have a GBA slot.

DS didn't have GBC support, as that was two generations behind.
Ninty consoles usually only have backwards compatibility with the LAST generation, not the last two.
GBA had GBC/GB
DS had GBA
3DS has DS

As I said, it's expected.

I'm still deciding whether to get a launch 3DS at full £££ or wait for a cheapy purple one... Decisions, decisions!

But I'm going to this afternoon! I'll tell you guys my first impressions! :3

I personally liked Dawn of the Dragon. I think it's pretty, and has a good story line.

And it' also just fun.

If you want my personal opinion of it,
I think the graphics are stunning, I really like Spyro's design, I don't like any of the other characters' designs, Hunter's is okay.
I find that the first three levels are really interesting, and I enjoy them with or without the cheats, as soon as the story gets to the Dragon
City, it gets ruined for me, and everything in the game since that part, feels rushed, and over done, the only later level that is sort of alright and interesting is the Ruins of Warfang, and that could've been done better and bigger. I find that towards the end I need to use the cheats to beat the game, I can't figure out any other way of doing it. But I still enjoy a little bit with the cheats on, but it does get a little boring because there are so many enemies towards the end.

I'd say that this is the better one for the gameplay, but not for the story, too many plotholes.

Great Gameplay, BEAUTIFUL Graphic, Lovely Storyline....
That's my opinion in a nutshell!

THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED!! BLAKE'S FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE LEGEND OF SPYRO: DAWN OF THE DRAGON!!! (I played about 1 1/2 hours so far).

So, in Lamen's Terms... this game is freaking awesome!

Why did I skip out on this game when it came out? Why did I listen to IGN when they said it was mediocre?

The game opened up with the beginning fight with the golem and I was immediately impressed. It was cool so far, then, the level before me had tons of platforming and action! It was great!

I then got to Avatar Valley, and I must say, it is absolutely beautiful considering it came out 3-4 years ago. The gameplay is solid and the connection between Cynder and Spyro is not bad (can get annoying once in a while). And I LOVE the feeling of the game. It has much more exploration and freedom and just a strange way of having the spirit of the Insomniac games...

The characters are ok, but could have been a lot better. Sparx's voice changes are lame and I liked Cynder better in the first two games, but overall it's pretty solid.

So thank you all here at Dark Spyro for helping me decide to pick up this game! I may have not played it for years without you! The classics will always be my favorite, but I think I found something second best! :3 (Another reason I didn't pick this game up was how much I HATED TEN! UGH! HORRIBLE)! HAHA

Great to see you don't feel like it's a waste of money! I was thinking on starting video reviews, and LoS is one of the things I want to review.

If you think the graphics are amazing, go buy Super Mario Galaxy. It came out a year before DoTD and, IMO, looked better. At least it followed a certain art style instead of randomly chucking levels together.

Played it again, and I now dislike it deeply. :< Except the DS version. And I never played the mobile version, so I'm not going to blame it.

Just one question:
HOW IN THE SEVENTY SIX GLIX AND GLISS IS THE STORYLINE GOOD? Big deal. Spyro and Cynder face Malefor. So Kameo discovering the elements and facing Thorn isn't? Besides, it was supposed to be the finale of the trilogy. Of course they're going to fight him.

This game looks pretty much as good as Galaxy (a bit better considering its on 360 for me). But maybe not Galaxy 2... I must finish the game first haha

Galaxy 1 and 2 look pretty much the same in terms of graphics. And DotD looks good on Wii to me. But the Xbox 360 version is one of the best games for graphics I have played.

And people can have their own opinions on the storyline. People say CoD has an amazing storyline, but it hardly held my attention at all...
And nobody said Kameo's story was bad....
And don't take out bad moods on other people...
