The PSP is pointless to me anyway, I don't like any handheld consoles. I used to enjoy the Gameboy Colour, and had Mario games for it, but that was just before I even knew about PlayStation. It was wasn't that long after that I found out about it, and I was very young at the time anyway.

The only handheld I like enough to carry with me is my DS, the PSP is boring, and the iPhone has a couple of good games but I'd rather just have an iPad at home.

Another good point is indeed the 3DS. With Activision it seems unlikely for a few years, but we would probably get one straight away with Nintendo.

Ehh, I dunno, I never really cared about Activision so I don't know how they roll very well, but it's almost definite if Spyro's rights went to Nintendo they would be on the 3DS. I can't think well this morning...

Sony may be money hungry, but they produce just as good games as Nintendo, IMO. I like the PS3 and Wii the same.

But anyway, you know in the DoTD trailer, when Spyro breathes fire toward the camera? Why not make the game on the 3DS with scenes like that and touchscreen features similar to SL? Another RPG?

If they make a TLoS RPG, make it for PS3.....bigger disc space.

Well, I just have two really big complaints: It has poor games and just a ton of gimmicks. I don't want to play a bad game in HD. I'd rather play a good game in even SNES or NES graphics(points at Mario avatar). And it won't play PS2 games unless I import it. Thanks a lot, Sony.

um it depends on the model......i did my research on my spyro the dragon wasn't working on my PS2...

Yeah, depends on your model. I got one from Japan (it's cheaper rofl) but I opted for the model which doesn't allow for PS2 games.

Yes, as far as I know, there aren't any BWC PS3s in Australia. We looked all over for months and couldn't get one. If Sony would fix that huge problem I'd be happy to actually say "I own a PS3".

I think all of Sony's exclusives are boring, but that's just me. Their only exclusive I actually like is Monster Hunter which is now on Wii too.

Yeah there are different versions of PS3, some of which support PS2 games and some of which don't. My PS3 doesn't support PS2 games. When I bought my PS3, I had the choice though, between one that does support PS2 games and one that doesn't. I took the one that doesn't, cuz it had the biggest hard drive, and I already have a PS2 anyway.

I must admit, I'm finding better games on the PlayStation and PlayStation 2, than the PlayStation 3 at the moment.

Same here. Heck I don't even have that much games for the PS2. But I have about 30 PlayStation games. But because my PS2 doesn't have a chip, I can only play three of the PlayStation games. Boy, I loved that PS when I was little, when 3D platforming was the main thing, not graphics...

I also loved the 64...

I think my very first Nintendo game was Banjo-Kazooie.... I also have nostalgic memories with Conker's Bad Fur Day, Zelda: OoT and Zelda: MM....

spyro the dragon dosn't work well on it especially when the disk is scratched up...

Well if the disk is scratched there's no surprise why it wouldn't work.

lol but then it ran smoothly on the schools slim PS2 only the sound was screwed up in every level....

I don't see why some fans are calling us Old and New Spyro fans hypocrites. We're not doing anything wrong, we're just tired of hearing the same thing over and over again over everywhere we go.

I just recently became a new Spyro fan HAHA Used to not like newer Spyro at all really besides enjoying ANB a good bit

I'll always love the classics the most, but I really enjoy the new ones. I love StD, RR, YotD, and DotD. ANB is good. AHT is meh. And EtD and TEN are terrible.

i mean, everybody's got complaints. it's only normal, i guess. i've got complaints about some games (EtD)..
every game will be critisized, can't change that. but you shouldn't critisize other's opinions.

One thing I hate is when people say something is a bad reason to like the games, like when people tell me off for liking the story in DotD, or when they think I only like Cynder for her appearence in DotD....

^ exactly! if i hadn't joined this forum or anything, i wouldn't have to have any reason to like the game other than the fact i simply liked it. now i feel like i've got to explain myself ._. it's sad.

I colmpletely agree on this. Everyone has the right to have a certain opinion on something, however that does not mean one shouldn't respect others' opinions. One should treat others with the same respect they would treat themselves. Just as everyone has the right to have their own opinion on something, others do have the right to disagree with someone's opinion and comment on it as to why they disagree, but that doesn't mean they should bash the other person becuz they don't share their own opinion, you should respect others' opinions as well as your own, even though it isn't yours.

Also, saying that something isn't a valid reason to like Spyro is absurd...
