in DotD, i noticed that when they go up to the very first green crystal, they put their paws on it and crystals come out, spin or whatever, and the Chronicler channels them or something. why after that do you have to break that crystal, if shards separated themselves and floated around. if they're loose they should go to you.

That's actually a good question. Maybe that crystal was fragile.

Strange, they should have changed the crystal into a clear-see-through colour, so you can see the difference, and I think that the Chronicler should have had more parts. |

@GamingMaster: Sorry, I STILL haven't played the game, so I haven't exactly seen Concurrent Skies!
But isn't the technology there more....primitive, to today's, or even the technology in the Classic Spyro? @mineredd: There's one thing I can't trust Wikipedia for....

He does recolors for other Spyro fans who have characters who are recolored versions of Spyro and Cynder in art requests thankfully.

Well, if you are over 13, then you shouldn't be recolouring, but if you're under 13, it's not that bad. I mean, lots of kids use colouring books when they are young(even I did). Some kids just use art of famous cartoon characters as colouring books.

You know what I noticed, is that the Dragon Generator on here and that used to be on Spyro's lair kind of encourages recolours. I'm not sure if you'll agree with me, but I mean, if you want your dragon to be female, it's the same exact shape as Cynder, and if you want it to be male, it has to be the exact shape as Spyro, and it's difficult to create an original design from there. And a lot of younger fans base their designs off of the ones they've created with the Dragon Generator, so there's butt loads of recolours.
But I'm not giving excuses for recolours. They're a pain, and if you want to be an artist you should at least try to be Original rather than just changing the colors and details. Even if I come across a great artist, if I find that their characters are full of recolours, straight from Spyro characters or other artists' characters, I lose a lot of respect for them :/ Heh. We're getting purdy off topic. |

In the first Spyro the Dragon game, Gnasty Gnorc is so easy to defeat.
I can never comepletely beat Spyro Year of the Dragon, cuz the game tends to glitch somewhere at the near end, I lose many eggs I've collected and then I have to collect them all over again. And after beating the sorceress a first time, I get zapped back to the first home world, and my game is at 0% gaian. Also, In the first Spyro game, Spyro seems to be the only baby/young dragon around. Malefor is too weak. How could a fully grown fully powered adult purple dragon be defeated by a couple children. As an adult, both Malefor's physical strength and his elemental powers should be stronger than Spyro's and Cynder's, who are both just kids. Add to this the fact that Malefor's Dark Magic makes him even more powerful than normal. |

Sounds like you own a hacked copy of Spyro 3. My first copy of the game did the same thing to me. And I seriously hate it how you get stuck in the second world after you beat all the levels and about to go to the third world. I had to restart the whole game again. >=/ |

How come this glitch is in ALL downloaded/hacked versions? |
GamingMaster_76 Yellow Sparx Gems: 1271 |
#114 Posted: 04:11:05 20/01/2011
Because Insomniac found out about pirate copies of 1 and 2, and put legal files into the game so it would scan for pirate copies. Pirate copies were uncompleteable and would reset the game in the first Scorcerress battle. You can keep your progess if you just buy a regular copy of the game and use the same memory card.

my Spyro 1 and Spyro 2 are the real/legal versions, only Spyro 3 I have a hacked version of. My ETD and TLoS: ANB are also downloaded versions, but the rest of my Spyro games are all real/legal versions.
EDIT: How come, in DotD, Spyro and Cynder are so small in comparison with Ignitus (and all other adult dragons)? It doesn't seem right |

Because they never really grew up in the first place when they were frozen in time, but the producers made them teenagers anyways to maintain free flight.

Yeah, but notice how the difference in size between Spyro/Cynder and the adult dragons is much smaller in ANB and TEN than it is in DotD

Yeah, but it isn't realistic. It doesn't bother me that much though, just a little. But this is exactly the point, how could 2 such small dragons beat Malefor (who's 20x bigger and stronger) |

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. As a single player boss, he's ridiculously easy, but in co-op, he gets way too hard...
At least we can be tankful he isn't as easy as Super Mario Galaxy 2's last boss! |

Ehh. I didn't get much replay value out if it. I re-watched the cutscenes, and I just noticed they were extremely poor, not just with the lines and story, but with the lipsync and body movements(It's true that you can see Spyro and Cynder walk up with the grublins). The gameplay was decent but I got bored of it easily because I've finished the game times before. I did enjoy the attacks a bit, but as I said I've been though it before so I wasn't really excited by them.
This is just my personal opinion, I know you like the game SB, and I'm fine with that. |

I noticed in this cutscene below that Terrador and Ignitus magically switch places. In 0:30 Ignitus is to the left and Terrador is to the right. In 1:06 Terrador is to the left and Ignitus is to the right. And at 0:40 you can see behind Cynder that Ignitus is to the right of one of Terrador's wings.

Also, Hunter randomly moves and Volteer and Cyril silently appear. At the start Volteer and Cyril are behind the other two and then they cover Hunter so he's invisible.
Why can't they just have constant environments like the LoTG film(Metal Beak's lair)? |
