Speaking of her model, I looked at her model in blender, there are points to be sorted, such as the anatomical structure, the current one inhibits effeicient running or pouncing, so their hunting ability would be restriced. The horns too are causing issues and the wings wouldn't get her aloft.

I could go on and derail the topic, but the passengers would get sick :P

Or, it could be a jaw bracer to protect from uppercuts.

Meh, I'll say what I think of the designs, coz I'm bored!

ANB/Corrupted Cynder - Looks really cool, badass and what not.....and sexy!

TEN/Young Cynder - My least favourite. Not terrible, looks kinda cute. But she looked much better in the concept art. Here's a good picture of the in-game style:

Seriously, I don't know how they managed that mess up...she actually looks better on the DS version than on the console one...

DotD Cynder - My favourite one. She had a balance of cute, badass, sexy... just everything I like really. And the colour change set her apart from other dark characters like Shadow the Hedgehog.

And what if she's not in her DotD form in Spyro's Kingdom (which I hope she won't be)?

I think they should keep it with the teen design, simply because it looks kind of stupid if they "de-age". We're all used to the teen design now. We don't want people complaining about ANOTHER sudden design change. So just keep it similar to DotD's style, to avoid flame wars. I also think the teen design is better as it means they are physically capable of more, meaning more abilities for the player. Although, it would be cool if we got a flashback segement, letting us play as Young Cynder! (I unlocked her on ANB DS yesterday)

It won't make much of a difference though to me. If they are small again for the whole game, then they had better make it less combat-oriented, as the moves were more simplistic in ANB/TEN, and I don't want them downgrading the combat and then making the whole game about combat. I don't want a repeat of Dante's Freezer either....

If they do make her small again, make her look more like the original concept art, or the image I posted earlier.

If it's a different kind of Spyro game we've never seen and made by a different game developer, expect some character design changes anyways. They should have Cynder be little dragon again if she is even added in the game. She never grew up in the first place.

Yeah, but it looks weird if you revert. It's like the way Sonic still had his modern design, as opposed to the retro design in Sonic 4 - people would be confused. It's called "brand consistency". It's the same case here.

But Cynder isn't the title character. Fans complain mostly about the title character's design.

Not really. To bring up Sonic again, the character designs were the exact same as normal in Sonic Chronicles, which was developed by Bioware, not Sonic Team.

It depends on the producers. After seeing our opinions and seeing their own mistakes on DotD, they'll decide.

Yeah, taht's true. The only mistake with DotD though was rushing it.

Cynder is just the one character to me. I just liked her DotD look the most, as I thought it was the most balanced.
Personality wise though, she's just the one character to me. I don't like adding an extension to the name. She's my favourite fictional character because of her personality and really interesting character development.

TEN's Cynder was the worst?!? Sonicbrawler, you must be seeing a different Cynder to me She was just right; confused, mysterious, yet somewhat innocent and guilty. I hate how they added the chains back onto her in DotD- her not having them in TEN was to show she was free of Malefor, a different person. Adding it in DotD made NO sense whatsoever- I mean, by doing this I'm assuming that Malefor chained her while she was frozen, which obviously didn't happen... Though I see what you meant about her in-game model- it was, in all honesty, horrible.

I think EL made Cynder purple and pink because of this concept art- I mean, if you were asked to design a teenage version of Cynder with this art as a reference, the final design would be similar in colours... I mean, compare the two pictures. They look very similar.

Not used to seeing a bird talk with its beak, is similar to not used to seeing Cynder talk with her beak-like mouth. It's what made her unique from the other dragons present through the trilogy. Her mouth was more avian-like in DotD.

She still has the beak moth in DotD. Reminds me of a penguin!

No, I meant design-wise, silly! She was more sassy and feminine in terms of looks in DotD, probabley as an advertising strategy to bring in more female players. And, eh? Statement?

I like all of Cynder's designs for their own reasons. They're all different in their own way :3

In the next game, who knows. They could make her look completely different with an all new style we all like. I doubt they'll make it look like the ELB design, OR the Krome design. Do we even know what company is designing the characters and that stuff?

And I agree with Darby. All the designs are awesome. I'm actually starting to like the Corrupted design more than I used to, after actually playing ANB.

I miss ANB Cynder, I haven't played it in so long.. And I'm starting to forget what her design looks like D: I wanna see Cynder corrupted again in the next game!
