It's more than obvious that Spyro would be a tomboy if he was female. If it's a good idea or not, it wouldn't be for me. It's awkward as it is to be 14 and playing Spyro. I don't need to be 14, and playing Spyro, whom is female.

As for being 14 and playing Spyro, I honestly don't see it as any worse than playing Zelda (Link looks like a total girl and the games are pretty similar in style, especially Wind Waker). As for playing as a girl...find yourself a copy of Okami or Beyond Good & Evil if you haven't already and give them a whirl.

Also, still love the idea of girl Spyro and I might draw a classic version of her sometime. (Already drew LoS Spyro as a girl.)

It does if you pay closer attention to Cynder (the only female reference we have for LoS dragons) and LoS Spyro (not classic or Skylanders Spyro).

I have no problem playing as girls. My favourite fighter in Tekken is a girl, and I play as Cynder more than Spyro in DotD.
It's actually quite entertaining!

Lesbian girl Spyro would be the best game ever. EVER. Wait, did I say "game"? Because I meant "thing", as in: the best thing ever.

I wasn't too keen on Cynder by the time I played DotD and I played as her because she, unlike Spyro, doesn't move like a brick uphill on a cold day.

In my version, they both move the same when walking(Cynder seems a bit faster when flying).
I really play as Cynder as she fits snugly into my personal preference for action/fighting game characters - moderate strength and great agility.
Looks and jiggling chest are a minor bonus...

That gets into rather disrespectful territory for those of us who know real intersex people.

Spyro is a weaker fighter and generally slower than Cynder in my version. He's got a longer health bar at first to make up for it.

I didn't mean it in a disrespectful way, I meant it as a little thing for people to think about. So many people try to interpret characters as gay, sometimes because they hate the character, yet not many people think about a what a bisexual character might be like.

In the Xbox 360 version, Spyro and Cynder have mostly identical movement properties. They start off with the same amount of health and mana, but by the time they are fully upgraded, Spyro has more health, while Cynder has more mana.

As for attacking, Spyro has more raw strength and a generally wider range attack range for both melees and magic attacks, but has short melee combos, and his elemental attacks are generally more explosive. Cynder, on the other hand, has less strength and has more direct hits, but is a fair bit faster with attacks, has longer melee combos, and her elemental attacks have better side effects(Fear scares enemies stiff, Shadow makes them float in the air and can make enemies fight each other, etc).

You'd be surprised how often folks consider bisexuality over gay characters. What's incredibly rare is lesbian interpretations in fandoms. Rarest of all is transgender and asexual. Personally, I consider Spyro to be asexual in canon.

I can't break it down, I just know that Cynder was faster, had more useful magic powers, and was an overall better fighter.

I consider Spyro straight, but in the originals, he just wasn't very romantic. He did, however, seem aroused when Elora kissed him. Though I consider him asexual in the first game.

As for LoS, I consider him straight too, at least when we get into TEN.

Yeah, I find her more to my liking than Spyro. Most people seem to prefer Spyro's abilities though. I don't think they are better than one another, it's just down to personal player preference, and in my case, it's Cynder.

For Insomniac, I figure he could potentially be straight but he comes from a gender neutral race and is therefor biologically inclined to be asexual (speaking as an asexual, it is easy to love and be romantic without involving the body, and if your body doesn't have the equipment at all then it's even easier ). I ship Spyro/Elora hardcore, but I still think he was surprised by that kiss and not attracted by it.

AHT Spyro is totally all about the dudes, because everyone in that game is gay.

LoS Spyro I always pegged as completely asexual. He's too dopey and innocent to consider that sort of thing and since I think his growth physically, spiritually and mentally stopped with the defeat of Malefor, he will forever be innocent. Granted, even if he had gone on to be a normal adult dragon, I don't think he would have ever really been that kind of guy. Every real person I know who acts like him either grew up to be asexual or gay.

Same, though I actually liked Cynder's "elements" more. They weren't quite so cliche and made more sense.

As someone who's had more personal experiences with those two things (no, I never took meth, but I know what it looks like when someone is on it) I can safely tell you he's acting more drunk than anything else.

Having been around a lot of stoned people, I can tell you that they aren't the running sort. If Spyro had been lying around craving snack foods, I could buy it.
