Ive noticed in the wii version, the xbox 360 version, and i think ps3 version, that Spyro and cynder are shiny in the light. I have the ps2 version, and their barely a tad shiny. Is this the only version thats a dull shine? (ps, i dunno if their is this topic or not)

The PS2 has the worst graphics out of all them, so that's probably why.

I have a ps2 and spyro's wings get really shiny in valley of avalar. I hate it.

^ I agree. I also have it for the PS2, and I also can say it seemed to only do that in Avalar. It got pretty annoying with the brightness too.

On wii I don't have shiny.

Maybe PS2 sucks, but it's best console imo for now for average people. PS3 is expensive with expensive games (all you rich and spoiled children shut up) and it can't be pirated. You can't play pirate games on it. Xbox 360 has better graphics, but it doesn't have God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Black and some Spyro and Crash games. Xbox 360 is more expensive than PS2, but it can be pirated. I haven't see Wii in action for now, so I don't say anything about it. That's my opinion. PS2 is a good console, maybe dying, but it still is.

I can't get enough of it. The PS2 may be a dying/dead console, but I can't get enough of it. It'll always be awesome IMO.

I agree with you.

Well, the Wii version can use a HD resolution(although not a full one, only up to 480p), so I would assume so. TEN looked better on Wii, apparantly.

I thought the PS2 was missing those volcanoes...
Meh, I'll get the Wii version myself....sometime.....

I have it for wii and they are not shiny at all.

The Wii version is a tad bit shiny, but the 360 and PS3 versions have it the most. Most critics find it as a problem, saying how the light is almost blinding. So I guess it was kind of a good thing for the PS2.

My eyes are sensitive to light and I was fine playing the 360 version. And they only have a sheen on their bodies in certain areas. The game looks beautiful on 360.....one of my favourite looking games actually...

It really hurt my eyes in The Valley Of Avalar, Burning Lands and Malefor's Lair. And yes, I agree that it does look pretty.

Meh, it didn't hurt my eyes. The only game I've played that ever "blinded me" was Sonic Unleashed on 360(very rarely though).

Another game that sometimes blinds me is the GTA games, whenever the sun gets in the way of the camera, it is horrible, it even does it with the PS2 games, it makes me wonder if they do it on purpose, just to put you off. LOL

I can see that you haven't played God of War 1 or 2, have you? THESE ARE the perfect games, graphics better than DotD even for PS3. I don't remind GoW 3 on PS3 (awesome graphics!) because I am right now against PS3 (God damn all those greedy producers...)

.....But I'm the one who turns up full color/brightness/contrast up on every TV for love of color, so I'm not complainingl

Ouch! That would kill my eyes. I don't mind the colour being turned right up, but the brightness and contrast? Nope.

That wouldn't kill my eyes, but I would rather have balanced settings!

I hate the graphics for the PS2. The colors bleed.

I love the ps2 version<33<33 i know it has the sucki...est graphics ene. But the wii is the same. At least for this games graphics.
