Well, on Gikr you can upload the animations on it and it will still have it moving. That's what I did with your Cynder avatar. But if the picture is big, it has the word Gikr.com at the bottom.

Say, we will need somebody to compose background music too, and I don't even know how, so I'm no help for that. I think we should decide the director first, though, and then they can make the site.

Will this be rendered in 3D or will it be traditionally animated? Honestly, I find it hard to imagine it being done with traditional animation.

@ CAV The same. Maybe we can have a mix? Some important scenes like the opener or the Chronicler's prophecy of Spyro's book traditionally, and the action bits and all in 3D. But a traditional version would be amazing if it were pulled of right.

I'd like to be co-director at least, but if everybody's fine with me leading this project, or don't want me to manage it, I can do so. Just expect me to have breaks.

A mix would be cool, with the majority being 3D. Spyro is meant to be in 3D if you ask me.

I just find it hard to imagine Spyro in Looney Toons or Tom & Jerry style animation. smilie

Well I really can't set a site today because I'm on the iPad and can't be bothered turning on the computer.

If I get a lot of votes, I think Bolt should be co-director and manage the site. She has a cool site, and is more active on hers than I am on mine.

I vote for Bolt.

Yeah, that's the only problem. And I can't make another site. I've already got too much to manage(Working on three stories, doing art requests, and managing my own site).

So... When will the votes close?
Also, who here can do some voice acting(And that's not in a grumpy or sarcastic way, in case anybody takes it wrongly)?

A Blogger isn't too hard and it's free. Maybe I can make that one and manage it.

Now I'm trying to decide if I should voice Sparx or Spyro.

If I was to play Spyro I would try to out-perform Elijah Wood by adding some of his elements along with the extra emotion that he needed.

If I was to play Sparx, I would blend David Spade and Billy West together along with some of my own elements.

Can't decide...

i can probaly do hunter cause i cn do that type of voice and with a little tweaking it would sound it bit more like hunter.

Well, If I'm voted for leader, I think the co-director should make the site. If I'm co-director, obviously the director can make it.
I guess we'll just see how everything goes.

Also, we should make a snappy title to avoid confusion. The Legends of Spyro Saga? The Spyro Saga: Tales of Legend?

Hey, Bolt, if you don't feel like being the main director, I can take your place. It's really up to you, though, and everybody else will need to agree with it too, of course.

The Spyro saga. Sounds a bit too much like Twlight. AND I HATE TWLIGHT.

Why not leave it at The Legend of Spyro.

I personally don't care who is director or co-director.

Hmmm... How about The Spyro Trilogy? At least a temporary title would be nice, though.

Ehh, I guess The Legend of Spyro will do. But IMO we need something else because it might get confused with other projects.

The Legend of Spyro is fine for now, especially since we don't know if ANB will work, and if it does we'll be making more than just 3.

That sounds a bit too much like jamique's unreleased fan-film, The Legacy of Spyro, IMO. We should think of the title later, as not only will it help us decide, it will let us work on more important things.

I suppose you could try to get all the voice acting in on one and then do the other?

So, we should have some kind of traditional style of the cutscenes, or even a cameo of another style, and 3D for the rest of the movie like the battles. I think the traditional style might be able to be painted over the 3D while transitioning, and it fades away when going back to 3D. If you get what I mean.

Sort of like that- You could voice the lines of one, then do the other's lines. So, finish all of Spyro's lines, and then go through all of Sparx's. I'm nopt forcing you to, of course. It's just a 'meh' idea. Though it would be nice to have more people participate, and more fun. Or, we could have you try out both, and see which you're better at. I think I'm out of good ideas...

It's not a bad idea really. I can do the voice for Spyro first, then do Sparx's by listening back on Spyro's later on and giving proper reactions and such.

And in the event that not many people sign on, it will have to be something to consider.

And I could try out for both pieces...

Of course. We might get a huge audience, of a really small one. But I guess it can't hurt to have a shot at it(unless of course we're sued smilie).
