one day i was bored and nothing to do, so i picked up the spyro the dragon game manual. at the end there's an ad for the strategy guide and if you look closly at the fine print, it says,

3 free issues offer only valid for U.S residents. playstation and the playstation logos are trdemarks of sony computer entertainmet america inc. Give it to me baby!!

what is up with that last part?! if you've got the manual, take a look. im not lying.

My old manual said the exact thing, and I bought the game and game manual back in 1998. They never changed anything in the manual, nor the year, so that means the offer is outdated and no longer available.

I don't have that offer on the back of my manual, it's just blank, but on the other side of the back page it tells you how to use a memory card, LOL.

The American manuals always look much better than the European ones, smilie First of all, we don't have many pictures, mainly text and second if you do see any pictures, it will be in black and white, and also, the pages are all white with black boring text. LOL

Unfortunately, almost all of the US-exclusive Spyro stuff/versions are better. Grr! I've said it before, and will say it again...

Yeah, I think the Japanese did a better job on the manual, IMHO.

I hate being in the UK when it comes to this. There's a 30 page booklet for instance, and only 5 pages are actually meant for us >:/

Or, I'll start up a DVD and there'll be English and Arabic. What the....? No other European languages, just English and Arabic.

Japanese is cool, and I like the style of it, but I still prefer the American cover.

Oh, I have no problem admitting I prefer American Spyro in general, but their instruction manual is a lot bigger and informative. They've even got images of Spyro's actions and how to use them smilie
