I was browsing through some YouTube videos and found this song in two videos. Apparantly, this was going to be Cynder's theme in the Legend of Spyro movie. I didn't know if this was widely known(the earlier video was dated October 18th, 2010), so I decided to showcase it here. Apparantly, there are 4 other leaked tracks, called:

Out of this World
Prelude to a Dream
Sunny Shores
Heaven's Tide

I am going to look for them now. Anyway, here's "Cynder's Theme". (Which I think is beautiful, and perfectly suits the character!)

They're fake, sonicbrawler...

We'll never know if the soundtrack was actually in the movie, or it probably was created by someone who finds it funny that Spyro fans will believe almost anything with 'Spyro Movie' plastered on the title of their works..

Are you sure? Apparantly, someone got a demo CD and put the tracks on the web. And all the comments on the videos say they're legit.

I wouldn't be surprise if the soundtrack wasn't official at all, or wasn't created by the same team who were working the Movie...

The user received the sountrack from an anonymous chat user. That sounds a little too suspicious.

There was no article, there wasn't even an official confirmation that the soundtrack was real either.

I just noticed something, if this is Spyro Movie related, shouldn't this be in the Spyro Movie section? O.o

But the guy who released them got them via a 5 track demo CD. I went on his YouTube channel, and there were other leaked songs from other things on his channel. Also, the Spyro soundtrack seems to be gone from his channel. Luckily, there was an AMV of this song.

I'll believe it if the ones who worked on the Spyro Movie confirmed that the soundtrack posted on Youtube was going to be part of the movie.

Oh well, I guess we'll never know. I still adore the song!

I honestly think that if the soundtrack was finished, they would've at least released it onto the internet.

It's a cool theme, but looking at the evidence that Aura brought to the table, it's hard to believe that the soundtrack is legit.

It is very pretty, but I have to agree that it probably is fake. Lots of people put music as characters themes and say they're official. Still, I do like it.

Just wanna point out... Heaven's Tide was Fragments of Deception by Two Steps From Hell. Heck, I pointed that out when I heard Heaven's Tide ( when the video was still up, that is).

That said, I find the legitimacy of the soundtrack questionable, but I must say...it was pretty.

I showed it here as I wanted to get more info. I'm as stumpted as all of you on it's legitamacy.

But again, I still think whoever made the song, whether they made for the movie or not, or whether they made it as a Cynder theme or not, deserves a cookie! The song suits her perfectly!

Yeah, that soundtrack is fake. I believe one person actually found the original version of a song at one stage.

Although whatever song Prelude to a Dream is, I love it!

The only thing that gets me is that the guy who uploaded it originally removed the songs from his YouTube channel(this is an AMV of the song by a user lucky enough to get it). If it were fake, there would be no reason to do that. I wouldn't be suprised if it is fake, but at the same time, I wouldn't be suprised if it's legit. Oh well, I don't sure if I care. The film is cancelled anyway and the song is cool so.....nyeh!

Oh, and before anyone asks "why did you create this topic", I just wasn't sure if it was widely known that the songs existed, and I wanted to see what other people had to say about it.

The soundtrack from this video sounds like it should be on the beginning of a TV news report.

Anyway, it's an okay track, but yeah, the movie was cancelld so we'll never know and given the info Aura brought up, it just doesn't seem likely that the guy on YT was being truthful.

And just in case someone thinks I think it's real, I don't, but I can't say it's fake either. I just wanted to see what everyone here knew about it. For now, it's just a cool song.

I saw no Spyro stuff there.

I already said that the user removed the Spyro songs. The video I posted here was from a person who was lucky enough to get the song before it went off the web. However, some of the other videos from the user are leaked or rare songs from other things, as well as some things to do with hacking, it seems.

One thing I'd like to point out, referencing to the music, is that the movie was gonna be based on ANB... When Cynder was evil, such fitting music isn't it?...

At the end of the game, Cynder turns good. And it was hardly going to be an exact copy of the game anyway. The posters showed Spyro as a teen too.

The music doesn't seem fitting at all in my opinion.

Anyway... I just mean that it would seam rather redundant to be used every time Cynder appears, and it would be a waist to make a song used as a 'theme' once in the whole movie...

This is a movie ADAPTION of a game, not a carbon copy of the events. Who's to say that they didn't change the story around and make little Cynder have more screentime? Also, a theme song doesn't have to be used throughout the game/movie, it can be used once or a trillion times. And as I said before, Spyro was shown as a teen on the poster, and he wasn't a teen in ANB.

I don't know whether to laugh, or feel sad for you... The definition of a film adaptation is when something is when you literally transfer from the original, to the film. Like, how you put it... A carbon copy...

On the note of the theme, a characters theme is generally something that is constantly associated with that character, considering that Cynder was evil for most of ANB and the film would have been an adaptation (a direct transfer) of ANB then, as I said, it would only really fit for when she was good...

Anyway, I'll shut up now as there's no real point in talking about this because:

a. The music is obviously fake
b. The movie is no more

Funny, I made the first reply on that topic yet I forgot all about it...

Adapt means to change something to suit a given condition e.geople adapt/change their eating habits when on a diet. The makers of the movie adapt the games story to suit a feature length movie scenario, and possibly to suit their own tastes, as well as make it more enjoyable for the general public. Examples: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, How to Train Your Dragon. These are referred to as movie adaptions, and yet they are hardly anything like the game/book they are based on. A carbon copy would be referred to as a "recreation", not an adaption.

Constantly associated, not constantly played. My guess is that they adapted the movie to have a scene where Spyro is meeting the good Cynder for the first time, and this song plays. Of course, that's IF the song were real.

The fact that the guy deleted it is actually leading me to believe it's not fake. But whatever, **** happens.=/

I agree with mostly everybody here, it's fake. The source sounds just a little too suspicous.

I don't know whether to think it's fake or not, and I guess it doesn't make a difference to me I like the song, either way, I really do. The thing that I don't understand is, that if it's fake, where would they get the song?

They got the soundtrack from a user in a chatroom, who suddenly gave it to them for no reason.

Yeah, besides 'Out of this World' I can't see any resemblance to ANB what so ever...

The name Sunny Shores really sounds like something from Original Spyro..

And it really is suspicious how he supposedly got these songs.

Again, things were probably changed around a bit. Prelude to a Dream makes me think they were maybe going to have the start of TEN in it or something.

...Did anyone see my comment about Heaven's Tide, or is no one able to say anything about it? ; Sorry, just curious.

I believe this demo CD contained songs already in existence, but renamed. Maybe I'm wrong, but having heard Heaven's Tide, I have to wonder...
