Spyro the Dragon.

When I first started playing Spyro all I can ever remember from my early Spryo days was the Original Tracks of Music... also the theives from the first one, one of my early memories also.

What's so great about the Dawn of the Dragon music?
I hated it, because they reused things from earlier TLOS games.
The game itself was overated.

I can't believe that the majority of people chose 'Dawn of the Dragon'. It's really nothing that great. The original Spyro music has much better and more interesting sounds than that. And I hated those two corny songs that Rebbecca whatser-second-name sang. I must admit I did like it at one point, and then I thought, why am I listening to this for?

Spyro the Dragon is the winner. Without that game, neither of the TLoS games would have existed. The music in it is truly original, and it was never used in other Spyro games.

I voted for Spyro 2, Although I liked all three of the original soundtracks. I don't understand why Enter The Dragonfly is so low. Yeah, the game wasn't great, but the music was pretty awesome.

How can the Original Spyro the Dragon game make the cause of the TLOS series?
It's Sierra Entertainment that decided the re-boot, and at the time Spyro the Dragon was released, Universal Interactive Studios, now known as Vivendi Universal Games, were in charge.

TLoS would not be here if it wasn't for that game. Can't you see that the trilogy was made because Spyro the Dragon was there first? They took it as a head start.

The whole series wouldn't exist if it wasn't for them.

I really enjoy listening to the Spyro the Dragon music, it's so majestic... But Year of the Dragon music is also very nice. I can't choose.

Have to say that the first Spyro game has the best music. Don't really care for DOTD's soundtrack because most of the music's reused from ANB and TEN.

Im new and I have to say this is an exelent site.....but I want to say I am Highly disapointed in those who where unaffected by the movie being canceled.... I was devestated... I realy wanted to see the movie..... and you call yourselvs spyro fans.... I may not know anyone yet but my judgement still stands!!! I joind figuring the site would bring others I could talk to..... but seeing all the remarks about the movie I dont know if I should be here.... anyway I signed up to tell this message, but I have the will to forgive.... hopefully you will change your minds while Im here.

Everybody has different opinions. When you're a fan of something it doesn't mean that you have to like every single thing that they produce. I consider myself a Spyro fan, but I only like the first three games, don't really enjoy the rest, and that is my opinion, it's unfair if you try to change people's opinions, maybe this site isn't for you, if you can't accept other's opinions.

In my opinion of the Spyro movie, I think it would be stupid, because you just stick all of the cutscenes from ANB, TEN and DOTD and put them all in order and there you go, since it was going to be based on TLOS.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, SpyroD. Personally, I hate the LoS games, but I'm still a Spyro fan. No matter what you say, you won't be able to change our opinions. I'm glad the Movie was cancelled, to be honest.

Spyro is a game character, not a movie character. Some things are meant to stay as games, cause it wouln't feel the same. I admit there are some games that inspire movies, like Mortal Kombat or Prince of Persia. Or vice versa. But if you ask me, Spyro should stay in videogames, cause a movie just doesn't fit him.

Im just saying this isnt how I expected people to think, and I do apologize how I reacted, but still the movie wouldn't just be the cutscenes they would add in all the action and flight.... I was saying that you could try to look past the music and just axept that Spyro is here to stay, even if the ledgends arnt the end, people arent going to stand by and do the same thing to Spyro like they did with Halo, they will come out with a movie even if I have to do it myself

Oviosly The legend of spyro dawn of the dragon would be the favirite, because it's multiplayer, it's chaleging, there are epic enimies, there is armor, elemental upgrades, and you can fly at any time. if the legend of spyro diddent exist, i'd chose a heros tail.

Dawn of the Dragon got a lot of votes because of the gameplay, not because of the soundtrack.

I admit that some of the soundtrack is very cool, but it would have been cooler if most of the music wasn't from the previous games. That's why I decided to vote for the Spyro that started it all.

I think most people are voting DOTD because it's their fave game. I'm not very suprised. DOTD seems to beat every Spyro game by a long shot for every question.

The soundtrack in TLOS didn't sound like anything new or fresh to me, it just sounded like I've heard of something like that before in another game series, I always thought that the Classic Spyro music always sound fresh to me, and I find some of the tracks interesting to listen to.

In my opinion, this may sound random, but I think that the best soundtrack in all of the game franchises would be Ratchet & Clank, the games on the PlayStation 2, not 3.

I voted DotD because it's a compilation of amazing tracks. It has originals, remixes and re-used tracks. The fact that it re-used tracks is not a bad thing especially since the re-used tracks themselves are really good(Black Powers FTW!). And the original Spyro did re-use tracks.

Also, Super Smash Bros Brawl is known for having one of the best soundtracks in gaming, yet most of it's songs were re-used from other games or remixes.

The original Spyro the Dragon has one of the greatest soundtracks in a game ever in my opinion. I believe Stewart Copeland's genius came out more with Spyro 1's simpler instruments then even with 2-4's more advanced ones.

Second would probably be the soundtrack of Ripto's Rage or the Legend of Spyro games.
