Yeah, I myself am a both Classic and TLoS fan. General Spyro fan, if you want to call it that. I like hearing what both sides have to say, and it can be fun to discuss. But I won't debate any opinions here.

One thing about the darkness of the plot, dude, old Spyro DID have some dark themes! Just watch this. Tearing the wings off of newborns or smashing the eggs to rip the wings off the little dragon fetuses? Doesn't sound like rainbows and unicorns to me!

Yeah, LoS also has similarities to the the Classics, both in gameplay and through references.

Yep, Darby said what I've been saying (and several other folks have been saying). Some of us like to complain; it's cathartic. When you've been dealing with fans trying to cram things you dislike down your throat everywhere you go and telling you that your thought-out, well-grounded opinion is wrong just because it bothers them, you eventually need a place to vent.

And, for the record, I see hate topics in every forum. Check out SpyroForum; it's crawling with hate topics on both sides. As long as we aren't bashing specific people or being racist, it doesn't matter if we want to express our dislike for a video game series.

LoS has maybe two things in common with the classics as far as I've seen, and that's it.

Hee, it amuses me that even light-hearted YotD is better at LoS when it comes to being dark.

There is a site called Dragon Nexus. It's a Classic Spyro fansite. You could try there if anyone else bothers you.

Dragon Nexus is dead. This is literally the only Spyro fansite with a forum that's still active (there are people who chat on SpyroForum and the Activision forum, but it's the same five people talking about the same three things that are completely uninteresting).

Oh, sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I never actually properly examined the site, I just read one article on it.

I'm fan... Of theory TLOS is novell inside original Spyro universe and that "originals" Cynder is good character

Stoker and I like to pretend LoS is just a halucination AHT Spyro is having after he got reeeeally drunk.

Nevertheless, TLOS as novell plays a role as plot device in my fic's... And Cynder is supposed to be different, but I don't know what different... Can thou help me once again Razz?

Maybe? I had a bunch of unused Cynder ideas from when I had nothing better to do with my time. *shrug*

Hehe... Unfornatelly, I would make Cynder only more of a sue and scrappy than she already is...

Is that even possible? I mean, seriously. She's already about as cliche as a female character can be (villain, princess, damsel in distress, love interest, token girl, token girlfriend, token evil...the list just goes on and on).

I've always imagined TLOS to be the past of Original Spyro. It just fits in to perfectly. If Activision would make this come true in the next Spyro game (original Spyro could get told a story about Legend Spyro or something), they could pull it off so easily.

Sorry, I just realized I sounded like a hypocrite.

I was just warning them that this is a TLOS hate topic, so they shouldn't get surprise if they see people dis TLOS. But I will leave it to Razz when it comes to welcoming them into the topic (I sound like a 60 year old D.

Sometimes I get so pissed at myself, because when I say something, it always comes out differently to what I meant, if you know what I mean.
