Before I wrote the Cynder 100 and conceived the idea of Gaul as a mentor and father figure, I figured someone had to raise her. The apes just kidnapped a random faun (Elora) on their travels and assigned her to taking care of Cynder. She and Gaul bonded over time as a result.

I really like Elora. I used to play Gateway to Glimmer all the time when I was little, So I grew attached to Elora and the Idea of Elora/Spyro. Razz, I think that it's partly your fault that I have become obsessed with the Faun.

I don't know why, but I've never become a big fan of Elora.. I really don't know why. It's not like I dislike her, I do like her, I've just never really thought much of her. Do you get what I'm saying?
Maybe if I replayed Spyro 2 again I would change my mind. Haha. but I do however support Elora x Original Spyro.

Hee, I'm kind of that way with Bianca, so I know exactly where you're coming fun.

I always wondered why they never included Elora in Year of the Dragon or A Hero's Tail? I think that if I saw more of her, I could've grown to like her a bit more.

I played Spyro 2 all the time when I was little (sort of; 8 is still young) too...it's just that I never grew attached to any of the characters. Seriously, I played them since 1999 and didn't get an attachment until 2008. No idea why.

Edit: As for why she didn't appear after YotD, I guess the developers felt that Bianca filled the role better since she had turned good. She can double up as a deux ex machina, after all.

She was at the very ending of Year of The Dragon, only a short apperence though. That's too bad because Elora is cool.

Elora was actually slated to appear in Attack of the Rhynocs, possibly as a playable character, but the dev team ran out of time.

None of the girls from the old Spyro games made it past EtD. In AHT, we had Hunter and Sgt. Byrd as well as Zoe and Gnasty Gnorc, but that was it. By the time we hit LoS, well... Blech.

Edit: I'm having the worst weekend ever. Anyone want to post some Elora art/videos/stories/anything to this thread? I thought about starting a new thread for it, but that seems a bit excessive.

Hey, Eloras pretty cool, I think. but what I want to know is how come they could put the proffessor back in AHT but they couldn't bring back Elora?! whats wrong with them?!

Yeah, they brought back the Professor AND Hunter, but no Elora

They know we like Elora... thats it! so they refuse to add her to any of the games....I can see into you!!! I know thats what this is about!!!
