The small print says:
The Chronicler's Tome of Knowledge strapped on the other side of his back to balance out the scroll case on the opposite side...Use for secondary animation.

Second Small Print:
Glowy crystal hung on the Chronicler's Neck "The Heart of The Chronicler" Might need a wobble bone...

I doubt it. Krome Studios was recently closed down, and the ones working there are now looking for new jobs at other game companies.

That sucks! Krome did an awsome job and this is undeniable proof of it.

This...is...great! Thanks for those links, Razz! To actually see what he was thinking while drawing it gives a whole differant out look on it for me.

I've got a bit more respect for ANB and TEN now after seeing these (and it makes me hate DotD even more).

^Lol! Man, he put a lot of effort into the art he made for ANB and TEN and they go and toss it all away for the current art style? thats really messed up! His was so much better!

I love his talk against realism in game art. It's a shame the producers didn't listen.

I know, he was right on the money with that. to have a unique style of drawing is great. to be able to imagine and draw things from thin air(as he said) that no one has ever seen, that shows real creativity instead of trying to be 'realistic' about it. imagination and creativity in art is what makes me love it so much. I have the upmost respect for his perspective on that, well done.

Hey Razz I noticed you have you were able to speak to him on his blogthing...oculd you ask him if he knows who did the Malefor art for TEN?

I noticed that in the link you posted the he mention a "wobble bone" again. What does that mean?

If he's up for talking, I'll ask him, but I try not to pester the pros too much.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect a wobble bone is just a semi-technical term for a movable part in the game model.

Wow...just simply wow. The grand amount of artwork makes me wanna play the first Legend of Spyro game (which I haven't played yet), the amount of effort - just amazing. And it's stylistic, mmmm - tasty!

The sad thing was this is during the time Krome Studios collapsed. Damn those laggers that made those business decisions. Just hope those people get better jobs in the gaming industry.

I like the artwork, but when ingame it doesn't work for me. Spyro is too fat for one IMO and somethings I find wierd between the dragons.. I guess maybe because they all have seemingly different body structures, IDK, I'm wierd like that *shrug*

You can get away with a lot of things in 2D art that don't translate well/at all in 3D work, alas.
