Basically what the title says...
Try finding (or if you already know) music that sounds like something you'd hear out of a Spyro game(for a level,homeworld,etc...)or that would seem fitting...
It can be for both classic Spyro or TLoS....
but that music must not be from any of the existing Spyro game,and it has to be just instrumental(exceptions are occasional random voices like for example in the Molten Crater,Banzai speedway etc...and a bit of chorus from TLoS)
not sure if there was a topic like this before =/ But I couldn't find any...
And if you want...give a reason why it would seem fitting.

I'll start off with this tune :

The organ,vibraphone/xylophone-ish sound and the bass really sound like something you'd hear from a classic Spyro game.

Some of Bowser's Mario Party themes sound like they could come from AHT, especially the Stormy Beach sort of area.

How oddly specific.

Wow, that tune DOES sound like something from Spyro! Some sort of crazy night place.


Oh, and I've got nothing.

I made a topic called "Character Themes" where people get any music, other than Spyro music, that they think suits their favourite characters. Check it out if you want!

Here are my suggestions:
Classic Spyro:
Could be for a base level

LoS:
For an epic boss battle.

Wow, Those would be great for Spyro levels. The sonic one sounds like it came out of ten or DotD.

When Ignitus dies, I think a good song for that might be The Black Parade.

And I think, for a boss battle, maybe Mama.

Both songs bye MCR. (My Cemical Romance)

And maybe Know your enemy somewere in there. by Green Day.

hehe you can really find suitable music from the Sonic games both for classic Spyro-style and TLoS games They use both orchestra and up-beat sort of music in their games(well the orchestra part mostly in the newer ones)

Any of the music from Dragon Rage would be perfect for TLoS (actually..... They sound very similar anyway, rofl)

Sorry, everyone, I've caught a Sonic Colours fever!

The Last Boss music was great in Sonic Colors. I wouldn't be surprised if Tomoya Ohtani did that music. He's composed all of the "epic" Sonic tunes since 2006 (Crisis City, Solaris Phase 2, Endless Possibilities, etc)

As for Spyro music, I would like the next game to feature an orchestral/electronic mix. It'd be awesome if Hans Zimmer or John Powell could compose the music.

I definitely think that a good rock beat like in Seperate Ways by Journey would be good for a boss theme. Disregard the lyrics though. The lyrics make it a love song. xD




And then again I think the raw beat of this song would be a good boss battle or chase scene.




And then this might be a bit too old for Spyro (and a bit too girly), but they're catchy, and are good 'final boss' songs. Heck they were both used in fight scenes, one of which was the final fight scene for the series.
