Hmm smilie . . . You mean like how Gary ( smilie ) and Mary ( smilie ) got a different appearance in DOTD while in previous games they looked differently?

You mentioned Doctor Who, so if I'm reading your correctly, you're saying what if Spyro were to look differently each time he "died" and somehow, someway was given the powers to regenerate into a different looking dragon each time?

Well that would be a bit awkward for a video game to mention such a thing if not use such a thing. I mean most people don't care much what happens in a video game anyways, as long as its entertaining to them they wouldn't give two cents to care or ask for an explanation.
