In my opinion, I don't find "Keep Holding On" and "Guide You Home" to sound the same... at all. Gabrielle Mann and Rebbecca K. were great composers.

Now that you've mentioned it... they do sound somewhat similar. o.o

to be serious... I was somewhat dissappointed about Cynder, not really being the "uber-evil-beast" after beating her for the first time
c'mon she was so darn epic in ANB, being a cruel monster while fighting & capturing the guardians & basically betraying her own kind.
She even went berserk, trying to kill a hatchling [Spyro].
females don't kill baby dragons...do they? .__.

Anyways, I found it quite strange, how Cynder is suppossed to be the same age as Spyro. Sure dark magic, corruption blah blah.
It would have made more sense if she had been one of the guardians (or anything like it), but getting bossy after a while
Than she got exiled and became leader of the Ape army...oh wait that wuz Malefor D

I miss ANB Cynder too. She was so awesome. I thought she was going to come back in DOTD but.... we got a Dark Spyro rip off instead... :[

The ending of DotD would be so much better if when Malefor turned Cynder dark, instead he turned her into her corrupted form, and Spyro had to battle her. That would have been awesome.

Screw the idea of Malefor corrupting Cynder! I wanted him to corrupt Spyro!

I was hoping he would be a spirit and use Spyro and Cynder's powers to create a body for himself. And I wanted a fight with Dark Cynder. I'm pretty cheesed off that we never got to see big her again. Dark Spyro was lame and having Cynder rip him off was equally lame.

I agree. That would have been better, but instead, we got a rushed cut scene...

As a game, it really should have let us get involved in that scene, with say, at least a battle with Dark Cynder. But still, I would prefer a corrupted Cynder.

It would have also been cool if the Chronicler was truly evil. I always found him suspicious to begin with. He made Spyro visit a tree, which turned out to be a monster, which resulted him in getting captured by pirates, he freaking has a short cut to the Well of Souls in his home somewhere, he tried to persuade Spyro to not go to the Well of Souls and he made him visit him in dreams in the most dangerous places, like flying over a lake.

Given just how many people and creatures died as a direct result to his meddling and the fact that he's got a secret entrance into the Well of Souls in his cave, I will never be convinced that Chronicler isn't evil. No amount of trying to play up his niceness in DotD changes any of that.

I bet we would've gotten a fight with Dark Cynder if Krome had gotten to finish the game...

I can't help but wonder what the game would have been like if Krome made it, and took their time. We'd have Krome Spyro and Cynder, maybe more cutscenes and non rushed scenes. The possibilities are endless.

Would have been better if EACH had to struggle to bring the other out of thier dark form.

IMO, if DOTD was made properly, it should be all light hearted at the beginning, because Spyro, Sparx and Cynder are finally free from the crystal, and they don't know they've been frozen for three years. Then once they find out, the game should get darker and serious.

If Krome finished making the game, I bet DOTD would have showed Cynder's true personality, from the TEN clip. Apparently, before Cynder got trapped in the crystal, she put her jewelry back on to face her past.

Im back by the way but Im not a Cynder fan but I have to admit in DOTD without her acid attack LVL all the ay up... Malefor's kinda hard to beat with just spyro.
