does anyone know how to fix the sound?

I have the Original discs, Spyro The Dragon; the music keeps jumping but the other two discs are fine, I also have the Platinum versions aswell.

To make this a bit more sense, I had the Platinum discs first and then one time I was bored and decided to look on eBay for the Black Label ones so you can pretty much guess what happens next, lol.

I still have the original disc. I don't know how long it will last though.

I have all three from eBay and platinum copies of STD and YoTD.
They work perfectly, apart from the fact in STD sometimes the music of Ice Cavern stops and in YoTD the charging sound continues even if I stop and turns off music, as well as a small music error at the title screen if I go there a second, third, and so on time.

All in mint condition. I also have the Collectors' Edition. :3

*Shrugs* I'm not sure if I have the originals. I didn't get a Playstation 1 until very late in my childhood, and didn't get Spyro for years later when the Playstation 2, Gamecube, and the X-Box were out.

got two copys which only play in my ps2 for some reason. ????????

I had 2 copies. The first one I had was the Greatest Hits edition, but that was snapped in half one day while I was heading to a friend's house with it. That same friend got me an original 1998 copy, who I owe a lot to for that.

I still have my old disc, and it works like a charm.

My Japanese copy works too, but that's more recent anyway.

A japanese copy? Wow you're lucky. I've only seen someone play a japanese copy 1 time and I thought that the camera was a little akward.

Yeah, I got mine from Yahoo!Japan Auctions.

The camera's a little awkward, but the framerate.... It's so slow. After going onto my PAL copy straight after Spyro seemed like a rocket in speed.

I have 5 discs- Two original PALs(One English one Spanish), 2 Platinum PALS(One has the counties on the back), and an NTSC version.

I still have mine. I played through it the other day and it worked pretty well, but I don't use it as often. I got the ones from the Play Station Store, so I have Spyro on the go!

I have the Collector's Edition disc currently along with Spyro 2. I bought it from a pawn shop, missing the third game. (I bought it off the PS store so it doesn't matter.)

The last two were, well, the first was lost and the second was...also lost. But I'm just glad to have my disc. Works perfectly in my PS3 though the music does seem to glitch up a bit.

Well, IIRC, I also have the original disc of A Hero's Tail, but I guess that's not such a big feat, ammirite?

I still have mine!! with two burned copies that also work perfectly =) If not for Spyro my life would never have been the same!!

The sound on 'em all work fine, too.

I have 8 copies. Can't play 3 cause they don't work on my region but the rest do.
