If it is true, which I think it is, then it could mean that Activision might reveal the next Spyro game to us this Christmas or early next year. If Activision feels like it..

still if its new game proof, in my opinion i think that it should be put up in the news.

Activision tried to make the next game under low profile.. Heh, they didn't count on someone to unintentionally tell brief info about it. :3 They'll probably take it down if they found this out.

good point, this is the best spyro site on the net and we wouldnt want that. ive seen that they removed all those crash bandicoot videos again of the new change.

That's dumb. If the Crash game was cancelled, why would Activision care and take down the videos associated with it? They're hiding something, that's possible that they're working on that Crash game or to hide evidence.

If Activision found the link with the confirmed Spyro game title tests and took it down, that would be stupid.

I doubt they would bother looking at what the Spyro fans want anyway, but how did they find out about the Crash videos?

Activision has an account on youtube, and the videos were posted on youtube. Somehow, Activision found the videos and took them down, but they didn't count on many Crash fans downloading the videos and reposting them.

I'll download the video if I manage too. I didn't know Activision had an acount on Youtube *Searches*.

They do, as ActivisionGames, and they're getting millions of hate comments too...

I'm not surprised. I mean, they canceled a Crash game that looked like it was going to be awesome and they won't say a word about the next Spyro game.

They think they have everything under control if they remain silent about their future projects until they feel like telling us, like they're lazy to care.

They need to at least start acting like they care. The gamers have really high expectations, and actually look forward to new games being released.

I simply can't wait to get any more information on this Spyro Game! We've all been waiting for so long...

They're probably only in it for the money. Heck Activision is probably the worst company in the world, and Spyro (and Crash) just had to have it's fate in Activision's hands. In other words, we're screwed. D:

but of course, you don't know that. An open mind Aura, keep and open mind. Many may have despised the most recent reboot, but at least many gave it a chance. Not to mention the possibility that Activision could learn from past mistakes.

Remember: This board is for all of us to share opinions of what we feel on the subject at hand, and as such each one should be free to express that and respect that. As it stands, it just a misunderstanding of opinions. Not an insult.

I think if they did another reboot, fans might just get fed up with them constantly changing Spyro. I mean, one reboot caused many fans to hate it because Spyro changed too much, and altogether just didn't enjoy the games.
I don't think they should just keep rebooting the games when some fans don't like the games. Instead, they should work hard on the future games in the same Universe they're in. They can fix it up if they really worked at it and put thought into it, but I know that a lot of you don't trust Activision there...
I think the smartest idea is to continue in the LoS Universe, and keep details from the old games, as was said before. And I'm not just saying this because I'm a TLoS fan. I'm a fan of both, but I don't see them bringing the Originals back. They can re-introduce characters, bring back & create new characters, bring back some humor, have an enjoyable storyline and fun activities....
Although I'm a fan of TLoS, I can't say it's perfect. It has it's flaws as every game does, and when Activision made DotD, it went a bit downhill, but who knows, if they try, maybe something good can come of the next game.

But that's just what I wish would happen...

Well, if they go on the track that will give them the most money, then they will probably go towards Original Spyro, because those games sold more than TLOS.

But if they combined them, that would please both crowds.

I hate to say it DarkCynder, but what sold well then might not sell so well now. Then again, LOS wasn't such a hot seller compared to other titles I bet.

I don't see why not. Mario, Zelda and Pokemon aren't like the games we have today, yet they're one of the best selling games in the world. Heck most of the best selling games aren't like Halo and CoD. The good thing about Nintendo is the fact that all their best selling games aren't just shooters with no storyline.

That would be good to. I must admit, original Spyro needs a little more combat, because once you're over 12, the games are just too easy, which is annoying because they're amazing games. When I get the Game Over screen, it's usually because of my lack of concentration, or because I'm tired. I usually play games at night. D:

I like the combat in SL. The placing of the enemies are like in the old games, except you need to attack them at least three times before they're gone, and Spyro knows a few more moves to support him. Ether that all the difficulty in Dino Mines throughout the whole game. Dino Mines was hard for me, and I couldn't let my guard down for one second. D;

Have portals, treasure and something to collect, along with old Spyro's personality, and the return of old characters, and make some playable. Plus the light hearted atmosphere. However, give Spyro a few more moves, add more combat (like I said above), make the guardians and Cynder (anti-hero, only helping Spyro to get revenge, and keep her TEN design but slightly altered to fit in). Cynder should be a playable character. More deep in storyline, Spyro finding out that he's rare purple dragon born once every ten generations, and when his friends find out, they don't believe him. Sparx picking up the gems and being Spyro's health, but he should be able to take a few more hits before he's out (starts off as gold Sparx, then yellow, blue, green and then red. After that Spyro is on his own). More difficult, probably a 7+ game not 3+. Spyro breathing Fire, Ice, Electricity and Wind (Wind is far better than Water, Bubble and Earth). No secondary attack... Collecting something else to get an Art Gallery (I have an idea for this. There could be only one of these in each world and level, and you have to find it). Oh, and Skill Points (which is more difficult yet fun, not just running around blasting trees) which unlocks a funny epilogue at the end. A few mini games involve TLOS combat (attack as much enemies as you can within the time limit. Like having to kill ten enemies in a minuet or something), and in theses mini games, Spyro preforms moves that legend Spyro knows, such as knocking an enemy into the air and doing a short combo (none of that slow motion crap. Spyro isn't a kungfo dragon). However, he can only do these moves during the mini games. The only other times he can preform the extras moves is when he goes through one of those power up thingys, and a bar shows up on the side of the screen... And the return of Speedways like the ones in SLD and GTG (YOTD Speedways were a bit too easy, being in order and Sparx telling you how to do it), but also racing against animals like in YOTD and ETD.
