Just an idea. Please don't start flaming me, but I think if we started a program to guide new users around the site, we could cut back on alot of immaturity. It's just a sort-of welcoming program to help the new users get to know this site better. They may not be familiar with the rules (and I know we have the forum rules already, but some people just don't bother to read them). As another example, we sort of have made rules of our own while here that may not be obvious to the new user (don't talk about your fandom too much, don't use too many smilies, don't overuse punctuation etc.). So if anyone wants to sign up for this, do it here. How it will work is every time a new user comes (each member of this club will keep watch for new members), one of us will help guide them around by pm'ing them and other stuff so they can ask the questions they need to have answered. That's basically it. Thanks.

IMO, instead of that, dark52 should make it that you have to read the rules before you join.

When a guest enter's the forum, above it will say "Before you start posting, please look at the Help Flies", or something like that.

But it doesn't force you to read them, I think. He should make it that you can't join until you read the forum rules.

It's a good idea, but not really going to work. As much as I like it, when a User joins they're either big n00bs or the average user

Yup, but it would be great to have users at least NEED to read the forum rules, it may reduce trolling a bit.
