I really regret having this user name I have. @_@ Sure, I think Cynder is really coo and all, but gah... I'm starting to really miss the old games, and hating the new ones a little bit. ANB and TEN where just too short... and DOTD just didn't seem like Spyro. I'm finally starting to see through it! I almost cried listening to the first Spyro soundtrack. ;__; I mean, I still play the new ones, but we had to return the old ones. I totally forgot that we where just borrowing them, 'cause we had them for a long time. Now they're gone. ;____; So, I'm kinda shaming myself... I miss the old Spyro. D:


This has no offense to fans of the newer games. 'Cause I still enjoy them, but just not as much as I used to.

ok. I hate TEN but like ANB + DOTD just the same as the originals.

I found my old GtG, played it... But the CD is destroyed, it has scratches, music is raveling, and when I go through any Autumn Plains portal, the game crashes. I really miss old Spyro games, but in our times it's difficult to find 100% working, original copy.

I know, right? My ETD game is really scratchy....

Not as bad as Red, IMO. Red was fail.

I like both Spyro series too.

Im sad though becuase my Ripto's Rage got stolen and my copy of Yotd doesnt work anymore.So if I want to play an orginal games all I have to choose from is,STD,AHT,or ETD(Which I dont really like)

ya know 2 me TEN wuz the better 1 out of the tilogy but thats just my opinion other than that i have every spyro game thats out nd they all still work good.....despite the scratchy music and sometimes(rarely) my YotD gam freezes when you enter the last level where u go 2 fight the sorceress.

I hear ya. I used to feel like you di till I gave the games more thought and realized I don't like any of them. I have mixed feelings about my name. I only call myself this because this is my New SpyroLUVA acount, not coz I like new Spyro. On the one hand it's annoying because it doesn't express how I feel, but on the other hand it's funny coz ppl get confused.

My feelings are that the old ones will never grow old for the majority of us because they were something of our childhood. The new ones rekindled our spirits in the little guy, but ultimately they will fade in power and value to us as time wears on here as the orig. will just get stronger. A new generation now knows Spyro as the new series and their love of them likely will never fade if that game has ment something to them.

I must be lucky! I still have my perfect copy of Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage AND Year of the Dragon in perfect conditions from when they were first released in 1998, 99, and 2000!!!

I like it here in this part of the forum because Texas_Gal isn't around here... :sigh:

I like the old Spyro, but (do not get me wrong) I think this is a very childish game. So in love with TLOS because it is darker (yes! I like the darkness, I'm very bad ). Old Spyro was nice, but fabulous, bright colors are unrealistic. I prefer games that formulates seven prawdziym breathe in the world. fairytale, but realistic, as you could be the truth.
In dodadku old Spyro storyline was pretty bad ...

It is my opinion, however, is individual.
