Chapter14
A plan

Two days had passed since Spyro was thrown in prison.Nobody had left Warfang since and no one had noticed the humans that exited the cave and started to set up a base camp on the far side of the woods.

In the meanwhile Spyro was outside the prison doing the daily labour that all prisoners had to do.The prison was building a new wall and everyday so far Spyro had to carry a large amount of stone to the building site.The weight was very heavy and Spyro was starting to run out of strength now.

"Move faster dragon,"one of the guards said and then kicked Spyro hard in the side of the gut.Spyro let out a gasp of pain and almost collasped on the ground,but he forced himslef to keep standing.

One of the guards had a whip and attacked anyone who was on the ground.After making it over halfway Spyro's legs finnally gave in and he fell to the ground.

The guard with the whip marched over and whipped Spyro across the face hurting his eyes.

"Are you crazy?!"Spyro asked,"You could of blinded me!"

"Less talk and more work,!"The guard barked then whipped Spyro again.

Spyro slowly got back to his feet and began walking again.How can the elders allow a place like this?,Spyro asked himself.After a few hours of toiling work he was sent back to his cell.

He found the usual dirty water and nasty food waiting for him.He sighed and just layed down.His time was almost up and he was begining to lose hope.

Then he heard talking."Come on,you have to let me in",a female voice said.

"Fine,but dont stay long,"one of the guards replied.

Spyro then saw a familar face walk towards his cell,it was Cynder.He was really glad to see her.

"Listen Spyro I dont have much time,"Cynder said franticlly,"Im not the only one who thinks you're innocent.""They will have your trial soon,if they still say you are guility then we are going to bust you out of here."

Spyro was about to talk but then the guard spoke up,

"All right times up!",the guard bellowed.

Cynder walked out leaving Spyro to wonder what was going to happen next.

Chapter15
Setting up Camp

On the far side of the woods,the human camp was almost ready.Grand Commander Geon slowly rode through on his horse.He was very proud at the quickness of his men.He saw his engineering expert not far and rode over to talk to him.

"Leo,"Geon addressed,"Did you get the intelligence reports on that big city across the woods?"

"Yes I did,"The engineer said in his scruffy voice,"We have enough siege weapons to take three of those cities sir."

"Very good,"Geon said and then rode over to his stratigist Callion.

"Callion are you ready?",Geon said.

"As ready as I'll ever be old friend,"Callion replied.

"We wont run out of tactics will we?",Geon asked in a joking tone.

Callion smiled,"Not on your life,"he said in the same tone.

They both silently laughed.As Geon continued his ride through camp he began to rembember all of the good times.He and Callion had been friends since childhood.Callion had always been very smart,so as soon as Geon rose to power he appointed Callion as his tactician.

He finnally found Galvor,the dark magician who had been his bodyguard all these years.Galvor had told Geon everything that he had learned from the mind of the dragon he brainwashed.

"How is our agent doing?"Geon asked.

"Good,"Galvor replied,"If this works then the purple one will be dead by the time we attack."

"Do the other dragons suspect anything?"Geon asked.

"Not yet,"was Galvor's reply.

"Excellent,"Geon said.

"We will attack tommarow!"He loudly stated so the whole camp would hear him.

I am strangely rooting for the humans...I dont know why...

Chapter16
The Trial

The trial was in the city hall and had begun.Hunter was put in charge of sercurity and was standing on a balcony near an open window.If the elders said Spyro was guilty then Hunter would give the signal to start the break out.

The prosecution began to present devasting evidence against Spyro.They refered to the blood on his paws,how he was the only one near the dead body,and also to how Spyro had turned evil before.

There was no one there for Spyro's defence.It was clear to Hunter that this was a rigged trial.Either the elders were a part of it or they were blind to what was happening.

Surely Terrador,Volteer,and Cyril dont think Spyro did this,Hunter thought to himselfBut what about the 4 new elders?What will they think?It only took a majority vote to have Spyro executed.

Then Terrador stepped forward with an annoucement.

"By a four to three vote,"Terrador said grimly,"The council has decided that Spyro is guilty as charged."Terrador then stepped down with a look of sorrow on his face.

Hunter quickly grabbed his mirror and waved it out the window at a mole that Spyro and Cynder had saved from the burning building when Malefor's dark army attacked.

The mole saw the signal and planted a bomb at the prison gate.The bomb exploded and destroyed it.

The mole then motioned to Cynder who was in hiding.Cynder charged into the prison.A guard tried to stop her but Cynder tackled the guard and knocked him out.She found the keys to Spyro's cell and grabbed them.

She got to Spyro's cell and unlocked it.Spyro walked out.

"Thank you Cynder,"he said.

Cynder smiled,"Anytime"

Then a guard with a crossbow entered the hallway."You're not going anywhere,"he said.

Then the guard was hit in the head with a stone thrown by another mole who had taken Spyro's side.The guard collapsed to the ground.

They all ran out side.They saw a group of guards running right at them.Then the father of the baby dragoness Spyro had saved leaped in out of nowhere and swiped the guards away with his tail.

"Run!",he shouted,"You dont have much time!"

Spyro,Cynder,and the two moles began running away.Hunter,who had been leaping on the rooftops also caught up with them.

Two more guards came out but were pounced on by Ember,who had been hiding behind the prison this whole time and Flame,who had not fully recovered from his injuries but could still fight.

This new band of allies ran outside of Warfang in attempt to find some place safe to hide.

Hiding

Spyro and his friends ran out of the city untill they were far enough away to feel comfortable stopping to rest.They soon set up a small campfire.It became dark not long after.The two moles sat silently by the fire,Hunter was keeping watch,and Flame and Ember were off to the side having their own conversation.Leaving Spyro and Cynder alone to talk.

"I still dont know how to thank you Cynder,"Spyro said.

"Thank me for what?"Cynder asked.

"For everything,"Spyro replied,"You've done so much for me but I havent done enough for you."

Cynder smiled,"You've done enough."She then leaned her head on Spyro's shoulder as they looked up at the stars.

Meanwhile in the human camp...........

Galvor stood near the edge of the woods.Geon approached him.

"Any news?"Geon asked.

"The purple dragon has escaped,"Galvor said.

"What?!"Geon exclaimed shocked,"Is there anything else you can do?"

"Yes,"Galvor replied,"Ive found another one to brainwash but I must wait untill she falls asleep.""I will also have to release my control on the other dragon first."

Geon nodded,"Very well""Proceed as soon as you can."

Geon went back to his tent while Galvor waited for the black dragoness to fall asleep.

Cynder don't fall asleep. I kill Galvor i he brainwash her.

Galvor: oh yea? And how are you going to do that?
Me: I'M FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!! BLAAAARGH!!!
Galvor: noooooooo!!!

Chapter18
Invaded Dream

Cynder was in some sort of dream world,but this dream world was not like the Chronicler's one.It was much darker.

"Hello Cynder",a voice echoed.

"Who are you?",Cynder asked scaredfully,"How do you know my name?"

"I am Galvor,"The voice replied,"And I know many things."

"What is this place?",Cynder asked.

"Do you always ask this many questions?"Galvor asked in reply.

Cynder didn't answer.

"You used to be evil,"Galvor said,"Why the change of heart?"

"That wasnt my fault""I didnt chose to be evil,"Cynder said defensively.

"No,Cynder,"Galvor said,"It was your fault.""You still have potential to be evil again as well."

The dream world's colors turned bright and were flashing.Cynder felt a strange feeling.

"Let me help you Cynder,"Galvor said,"Fullfill your true destiny."

Cynder felt like something was trying to take her over."NO!",she shouted and then woke up.

She saw everyone else at the camp staring at her.

"Cynder are you ok?"Spyro asked concerned.

"Im fine,"Cynder answered,"It was just a bad dream."

"Maybe you should just go back to sleep,"Spyro suggested.

"Actually I think I will stay up for awhile,"Cynder replied.

Back at the human camp.

Galvor turned to Geon and said,"She managed to break free before I could finish brainwashing her."

Geon looked back at Leo and Callion for advice.

"Ah,I never liked trickery anyways,"Leo replied,"I like to do it the old fashined way""Just go out and butcher them."

"Sir,"Callion said,"I reccomend we postpone the attack untill we get more information""We need to know exactly what we're up against.""But its your choice."

Not far away a young recruit named Cole Chaff had overheard the conversation.This isnt right,he thoughtWhat if these dragons are friendly?What he did know is that all the killing the kingdom was doing had to stop.

Cole then thought of a plan.He would sneak out to the large city,and if possible make contact with one of the dragons.If he was right then he might be able to stop this war before it starts.

Chapter19
Cole meets Gleen

After sneaking out of camp Cole ran through the woods.He didnt have a map so it took him a long time to find the city.When he got to it he crouched against the wall to hide himself.He needed to find one dragon alone,there might be a bad reaction if Cole just ran into the middle of their city.

He then saw a Silver grayish dragon walking out of the front gate.He slowly walked in Cole's direction.Once the silver dragon walked by Cole followed him while staying hidden.Eventually the Silver dragon fell in some kind of hole.He called out for help.

Cole approached the hole."You need some help?"Cole asked.

"What are you?"The silver dragon asked in response.

"I am a human,"Cole replied.

" A what?"The silver dragon asked.

"I will explain later,"Cole said and then lowered down a large branch that allowed the silver dragon to get out.Then Cole explained about the two universes and the human race and everything.

Cole introduced himself and the silver dragon said his name was Gleen.They began to talk together.A good start for an allianceCole thought to himself.

Cant wait till he meets Spyro or Cynder. Then that will be a good allince against those A****** moles and THE EVIL ******* HUMANS!

We dont know how the dragons will react to him though.

The Light Magician Returns

Morning would be approaching soon.Galvor who did not sleep was checking the camp making sure nothing happened.He then sensed the presence of the light magician again.

"I know you're out there",Galvor said to the light magician who was hiding nearby in the woods.

Then a blast of light came towards Galvor,Galvor dodged it.He then leaped into the woods were he was hit by the other magician.Then the other magician pulled out a light sword and began attacking Galvor.Galvor was stabbed but healed the wound with dark energy.He then shot a beam of darkness at the light magician and knocked him back.

"You wont beat me that easily,"the light magician said then he conjured clouds above Galvor that shot beams of light downward at him.

Galvor jumped out of the way and sent out waves of dark energy that destroyed nearby trees and knocked the light magician backwards.Galvor then shot a beam inside of the light magician and tried to drain his energy but the light magician broke free and vanished like he did before.

"He will be back,"Galvor said to himself.

"So do want me to take you to my freinds?"Gleen asked Cole.

"Im afraid I have to return to my camp now,"Cole said,"But I will talk to you again."

Gleen nodded as Cole ran back to the human camp.

As Cole was returning he relized he would need help if he was going to stop this war.He thought about who might listen to him.Callion was always diffrent then most of the others,Cole decided he would talk to him first.

"Some things just cant be stopped"

Cole made it back to the human campsite and found Callion standing watch.

"What is it private Chaff?"Callion asked Cole.

"Sir,do you support this fight?"Cole asked in return.

"Im afraid I cant answer that,"Callion said.

"These dragons arent barbiarians",Cole said,"They are intelligent"

"That does not make a diffrence,"Callion said in reply.

"I can prove it to you,"Cole said.

Callion was considering it but then said,"I dont have time for games right now."

"Im telling the truth,"Cole said,"You claim to be a noble person,""How can you sit and do nothing why our kingdoms kills everything in it's path"

Callion had a sad look on his face now,"Some things just cant be stopped,"he said before walking off.

Then human reinforcements marched out of the cave.

"Ah,Farfax,"Geon said to Callion's brother,"You finnally made it."

"Yes sir",Farfax Talis replied,"We brought a present for the siege master as well."

"Excellent work,"Geon commented,"Your brother is right over there."As Farfax walked away Geon looked at the huge new siege weapon that had been brought.


Im going to be busy getting ready for school.I will post a new chapter Wednesday.

War Approaches

Back in Warfang Terrador was standing atop the walls deep in thought.He was then interrupted by Volteer.

"The search parties still havent found Spyro,"Volteer said almost happily.

Terrador had a glum look on his face,"He cant hide from them forever....."

"Terrador,do you want Spyro to get caught?"Volteer asked

"Of course not,"Terrador answered,"But its just........"

"Invaders approaching!"A mole scout shouted.

Terrador and Volteer flew down from the top of the wall.

"What is it?"Terrador asked.

"Its those creatures,"the mole replied,"There is a whole army of them heading this way."

"Ready our forces!"Terrador ordered,"It seems war is upon us again"

----------------------------

"Wake up everyone,"Flame,who was now standing guard,said loudly.Once everyone had woke he said,

"Look,"and pointed at the army of humans that were marching through the woods.

"Oh no,"Spyro said,"There's more of them"

"We can fight them off,"Ember suggested

"There's too many of them,"Spyro said,"We need to get out of here,"

Then they all ran in the other direction,running right towards the Warfang search parties.

So it has begun.

United

Spyro and his friends continued their run through the woods,they didnt notice the prison guards in hiding around them.They were soon quickly ambushed.One guard put the two moles in a bag,another guard pushed Hunter to the ground and tied his arms behind his back.Two guards in a tree threw a net down on top of Flame and Ember.It was only a matter of time before Spyro and Cynder were caught as well.

They were transported back to Warfang by the guards.

"Terrador,"one guard said,"What should we do with all this scum?"

"Release them,"Terrador answered.

"Sir?"The guard asked shocked.

"There is an enemy army approaching the city and we need all the help we can get,"Terrador stated.

"But they're crimanals,"The guard said protesting

"That's just too bad.""Now follow my orders and release them,"Terrador said losing patience.

The guards followed Terrador's orders and released all of their prisoners.

After the guards walked off Terrador turned to Spyro and said,"I'm sorry for what we've put you through lately,we should have done more."

"Its over now thats what matters,"Spyro said.

Terrador then showed everyone the large army that had been massed while they were gone.There was members from almost every species gathered to defend their universe from the invaders.

They then flew up to the wall and could see the human army in the distance."The woods is where we plan to ambush them,"Terrador said."We know this area better,That may give us in advantage."

The the army of Warfang began marching out of the city.
