They're possibly making another game in the LoS universe anyways. Someone from Bungie, a game company working with Activision, is a friend to SMG117, one of the members on the Activision forums. He told him about the next game, but it is currently a rumor.

I dout they would make it only on iphone. I don't think this is true. Some people can lie about what their job is. Like one time my x-friend lied and said his dad worked for Spyro.

So the rumor was that it is going to be on Iphone?

Let's hope your friend heard wrong, and they're really bringing the first three to the iPhone.

It's possible. More possible than a new one, IMO. (In terms of performance, not in terms of likeliness of release.)

I don't want them back.

For one thing, they wouldn't be as hard to find.
For another... I just want them on my iPod. I've got all three... but I want them on my iPod so I can take them everywhere.

The music will have to do, for now.

why do u not like them? the old spyros were legendary, the more i play them the more i feel sad that insomanic sold spyro

I dont really care if its old or new Spyro.I like both.I just hope they dont do another complete reboot.Another TLoS game is more likely IMO.

yeah. i'd hope that activision isn't so stupid as to do more redos (i haven't played DotD so no comment there) but there's only so few ways they can go because of the LoS that are already out. it has to somehow work with that, and as stated before, what could be a worse evil than Malefor? the best i can think of is to agree with SpyroLUVA's earlier comments.

True Malefor was supposed to be the ultimate evil,but when it comes to video games anything is possible.In fact fans have already continued it.Just look around the fan-fiction section.

i don't get it like, in the 1st few games, they had 1 boss and u kill him/her and that's the end. they're gone.... it's never, the return of...

The old games have already been re-released on PSN.
I don't want the old games coming back as they originally were, unless they were released for the iPod or iPhone.
If they are going to re-release the games on newer platforms (aside from iOS Devices), I'd like to see revamped graphics, not just control-edited copies. smilie

Of course the old games are epic! They blow other games away, in my opinion. smilie

yea there is a petition with a pic of what a new game of spyro will look like... the same controls, with better graphics... u could continue the same storyline and such, but u would have to switch it around a little make spyro forget things

it has a pic of spyro ramming an enemy but with way better graphics.. and there's another pic where hunter is jumping at the screen with his hood over his head and his face is black but his eyes are glowing with excellent graphics, and it has agent 9 (the monkey) pointing his gun at the screen, again, with awesome graphics

Damn. I've searched google for New Insomniac Spyro, Spyro graphics improved, Insomniac Spyro improved, Hunter the Cheetah, Spyro back to Insomniac and so far nothing. Speaking of google, has anyone else seen the new layout in Google images?

Insomniac made only the 3 first games.And I haven't actually seen in any of the part of those games that hunter had a hood (correct me if I'm wrong).And Insomniac already said that they are not(unfortunately) making any more Spyro games.So that picture you described is probably fake(tho I would still like to see it)

Yes there are no sheep in DoTD, maybe it's a manipulated picture =/? as you stated before.
