back to the real compliments. You are a great writer, I've heard you spin a tale out of nothing. You are very creative and original, although writing fanfic about spyro does limit you. You could do so much more, you being so creative. Your writing style matches up to David Eddings(the writer of my fav book series the Belgariad and the Mallorean), His mixture of romance and action, with sad scenes, If I didn't know you I could swear you were him. Even so, you might not be fine tuned to the writing process yet. Still, you are never short for words, and stress affects everyone, so don't worry. You would make a very successful book writer. I envy your writing skills greatly. I wish I could make people as happy and interested as you do. I lack the great creativeness you have, yet I love writing in every form. I enjoy reading every word of your fanfic, and for some reason, I am glad I left the process, for now your true creativity has sparked. You are just a great writer, please don't stop writing.

That's not haiku. Haiku is 5 syllables, then 7, then 5 again. You wrote 5,6,5.

actually it was 6,7,5 thanks for pointing it out though.

Really? When my librarian was showing me a book about Haiku, she said that it always has to be 5,7,5.

Alrighty! Here is the next chapter that has been overdue for a while now. I hope you all enjoy it and the chapters that will come after. I am sorry it took me so long.

Chapter 22 - More then one player in this game

A faint chill went through his body as snow began to fall. He could feel it piling on top of him, soothing his burning muscles. Slowly he opened his eyes, he was right where he was before he passed out the day before, by his side were Starfury and Grom. Starfury was standing right above him, smiling at him gently. Grom was also nearby, looking around for any sign of the dragon or his minions. Starfury gently lifted up Banes head and brushed some snow off of him.

" You okay?" She asked softly.

" What happened? Where are we?" Bane mummbled, trying to regain his wit.

" We are right where we were when that dragon attacked us earlier." Starfury explained as she helped Bane get to his feet.

" Are you guys okay? What about the poison?" Bane said as he shook his head sideways.

" You saved us." Starfury whispered gently to him before licking him on the cheek.

" But...how am I...still here then? I remember everything fading to black..I..I thought I was dead." Bane questioned grimly.

"I dont know Bane...but the better question is, why did the dragon give us the cure?" Starfury replied, her voice was filled with curiosity.

" Whatever his reason he will pay for that, I swear it." Bane cursed under his breath.

Bane then could hear heavy footsteps clumping towards him, he turned to see Grom running through the short distance between them. When he reached Bane he threw up his arms and gave Bane a strong hug. Bane nearly fell over from Grom weight but managed to hold his ground.

" Bless you Bane! Bless you.." Grom cried out, there were a few tears in his eyes.

" Grom, its okay..you can let go of me" Bane struggled to say through his slight choking.

Grom let go of him and dropped back down to the ground, he wiped his eyes and flung the tears to the cold ground. He smiled at Bane one more time, praise gleaming in his eyes. Bane smiled back at him but he knew how dire the situation was. That Black Dragon from earlier must of been heading up to the west peak of the mountain to destroy whatever it is Sohtia had left Bane.

" Come on, we have to reach the peak soon, before that black dragon does." Bane said to Grom and Starfury.

Within seconds the three dragons were walking along side the narrow passages of the cliff, jumping from one platform to another, their wings saving their lives on more then one occasion. After about two hours of hard climbing Bane reached the top. To his amazement it was a large opening, the size of the entire construction site for the temple in his old life. Bane looked behind him to see Grom and Starfury right behind him, both were covered with the falling snow. Bane used his last bit of strength to lunge over the last rocky platform, he collapsed to snowy ground in utter exhaustion. Soon Starfury came right behind him, landing in a similiar fashion. Grom came crashing through the edges of the rocks as is plunged to the ground.

"That..was..harder then I expected.." Starfury groaned in pain, her wings felt like slabs of thin meat and her head felt numb.

" Yup..." Both Bane and Grom mummbled back.

Bane was the first to get back to his feet, more out of determination then actual strength. As he got to his feet he gazed at the barren land in front of him. It seemed oddly familiar..like he had been there before. He stumbled through the snow on the ground as he tried to find whatever is was his father had told him about. As he continued to look he became slowly angrier. He knew it had to be here..whatever it was.


Bane began to slash at the snow slowly at first, but as he cut into the snow he could feel himself getting angrier and angrier. He furiously ripped into the thick snow with his claws as if he could not controll himself. Within seconds Bane fell to the ground once more, his body was so hot he melted to nearby snow. He layed there on the ground for what seemed like a hour before he felt strong enough to get back up. Though when he did he felt a sudden surge of air fly past him. He turned to see a black dragon behind him, though it was not the same as before. This one was slightly smaller and twice as hideous. Bane could see a small purple shard hanging from his neck. Behind him Bane could see a large number of lumbering minions, all covered in some green fungi.

" You just made my job all that much easier!" The dragon cackled in a shrill voice.

" Who are you!?" Bane cried out to the mysterious dragon.

" Lord Igor, betrayed son of Andrala, brother to Drogan,and soon to be Ruler of this land." The dragon said smoothly.

When he had finished his short speach, Igor turned to his minions and roared at them to attack. The large swarm of minions charged towards Bane, others to Grom and Starfury, while Igor stood in the middle of it all, savoring the moment.

This is good.
