Also, don't really think a new game will be out this year. Spyro didn't show up in E3 and I don't have high hopes for him appearing at Comic Con...

I just know that they might or will put Cynder in the next Spyro game because some people liked her like me I would be mad if she is not in the next game but they will keep beause I know how many Cynder fans there are out there like me and they all would be sad or mad and I hope Cynder stays and I hope they make it where you can play as her because that was awesome to me.

I was kinding hoping the 'return of a classic' would be an original Spyro the Dragon remake (seeing as remakes seem to be pretty popular with everything right now).

I agree. As long as shes in the game, I'm happy, but I just want them to make a new game.

And many were angry and sad that they changed Spyro completely.

Basically: They don't care if Cynder fans would get angry or upset. They only care if it makes money.

well guys apparently theres no activision booth at E3.

I seached through page anfter page on google. Nothing on Spyro. Though I did see a few screen shots on Epic Mickey but no specific release date. It just said it's to be out later this year.

Yeah, they only mentioned the first Spyro game as one of the many titles Insomniac Games' next title is going to be on the Xbox 360.

you know I see a trend, hey aura did you see the sly, jak&daxter, & ratchet and clank co op game sony is going to release? Imagine if spyro was still part of sony.... he'd be in there too. Well activision sucks what are they waiting for? E3 would have made sense to at least show a teaser trailer if they had something big in store for spyro at least, sonic colors got one thats for sure and that sony game with jak and the others too got a trailer of that as well.

To those concerned about the missing Activision booth. This year (2010's E3), they stepped it up and spent their cash on throwing a very big party. o_O

Please note that the writer's article is somewhat biased. The reason they hosted a ton of celebrities is to promote more Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, and other games like Call of Duty, and Tony Hawk (both music games will have songs that the celebrities promoted) - based on some of the comments Kotaku users have posted.

Before considering going on flaming needlessly, be aware that Activision pretty much spent a lot of money on this - and that all the attendees who are in the area are free of charge. Think of it as a very good break from constant talking, and interviewing (note that it occurred at 9pm)

Unfortunately, no Spyro game I fear. The only reason I can come up with - the purple dragon doesn't seem to fit in their "party". Maybe give it a couple of weeks for them to announce the dragon game.

A reboot where they revamp it but incorperate characters and other things from both old and new would be cool. If we do have more co op, I just hope the characters aren't just like Spyro in terms of what they do and thier capabilities and stuff. Like the playables from Spyro3. They could do things and go places Spyro couldn't. I guess in the new one they could introduce a character who can say swim in lava or burrow like Blink. Maybe one that flies faster/higher than they can or one that runs faster than they can. I also hope we get a more versatile world with vehicles and weapons.
