Cons:
The diffucult controls in mini-games, and the boss red, especially round 2.

simply the best

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage

Pros: The mini games, characters, music, levels (landscapes), controlls, story, collectables and oddities (glitches that don't get in the way of the game's enjoyability; often, you have to look to find them).

Cons: I jenuinely can't think of anything.

Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer.

Pros:

- Controls are wonderful.
- You have the ability to: swim, climb, head-bash, skate on ice, spit rocks, use power ups (super charge, super fire-breath and fly).
- There are mini-games and side quests which gives the game a lot of variety.
- The boss battles are epic.
- You are able to talk to different inhabitants.
- There is a great variety of locations to explore which are all beautifully designed.
- There is a decent story with great characters.
- The voice actors are brilliant, they help give the characters a great personality.
- The soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard.

Cons

- Character models could be better and the characters talk out of sync.

Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon

Pros:


-Free Flight
-Co-Op
-Great Effects
-Continued Storyline
-I love the soundtrack.
-New enemies
-Variety of attacks
-Collectible armour
-Levels are detailed. If you pay attention to the background. It shows detail, such as the Destroyer in the background of burned lands, and Volteer and Cyril distracting the Golem in Attack of Destroyed lands. Each level is completely different from one another.
-Malefor battle was fun
-Character designs are complex

Cons

-Could have been longer
-It should've taken longer to beat Malefor, since he was the only boss in the game and we've played three games to get to it.
-More humor
-Characters tended to show not much emotion.

Right now, Spyro: Year of the Dragon

Pros -

Great gameplay
Loveable characters
Fun minigames
Beautiful levels
Great music
A good story that doesn't try too hard
Great voice actors
Loads of replay value

Cons -

Graphics aren't the best (but then again, it is an old game)

Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

Pros:

Great levels.
Good replay value
Getting to play as other characters
Loved the Speed Ways
Great music
The bosses are harder than STD and GTG. I remember pulling my hair out (not literally) because I couldn't defeat Spike.
All the playable characters are great.
Good story line
Funny. I love a lot of the character's accents. xD

Cons:

It could do with just a little bit more combat. Maybe add in a little bit more enemys?

Spyro the Dragon, simply because it's classic and the simplicity of it makes it the best one.

A heros tail, makes you keep playing cause its fun.

AHT, TEN, DOTD, GTG and the first Spyro game.

Ripto's rage/gateway to glimmer, the game simply has a certain charm of some sort and of course a hero's tail cuz it's GR8

dawn of the dragon is far the best because all of the action that is in it and puzzles the get past to get into another part of the game

This was a hard choice..... but I'll have to go with the TLoS series and the three original ones.

Kill me all you want, Shadow Legacy and A Hero's Tail.

I enjoyed them, though they were too short. *sighs* That's the problem with all good games...

I would have to say my favorite is spyro3 : the Year of the Dragon.

Pros: All kinds of diffrent worlds to explore.
Awesome characters
Good storyline
More then just 1 playable character.
Super Fun to play
Good Plot
Not too hard and not too easy.
Cons:
Some Dragon eggs were too easy to find.

Dawn of the Dragon because you can fly freely any time you want to and you can play as Cynder.

My favourite PS Spyro games are Gateway to Glimmer and A Hero's Tail, my favourite handheld Spyro game is either Adventure or Shadow Legacy. I don't really have a favourite LoS game because they'll never be as good as the original series but if I had to choose, I would pick The Eternal Night.

The new Spyro games was Dawn of the Dragon, the classic Spyro games was Riptos Rage and Year of the Dragon.

The one I can only remember playing as a child, YoTD. I do remember playing one Spyro game were you had to follow some realy big dude who kept talking about having a army or whatever. Turned out to be a bunch of plants.

Anyone know what game that was? I think it was Spyro the Dragon but I am not sure.

If you're talking about Agent Zero in Cloud Temples then that was Gateway to Glimmer.

Ripto's Rage for nostalgia. Played it tons in sixth grade when I was out with the stomach flu.

Yeah I think that is it! I cant go check again because the disk is too badly damaged to play. I wish I had taken better care of my stuff. My mom always told me to put them back in the case when I was done but I never listened.

This is off topic but does anyone else have a problem were even if they leave a game inside the console (Xbox360/PS3 in this case) it still gets scratched somehow?

I wish I looked after my disks A LOT better. I have about 20 games, and I can only play 3 out of all of those games, because they're too badly scratched. They were PS games. When I was 5, which was when they were all working, I looked after them badly. When I cleaned them, I just dumped the disk in the toilet, then I rubbed it roughly with a towel lol.

But even if they were looked after properly, I still wouldn't be playing them today because I don't have a chip for the PS2.

Hero's Tail, not even close. Next would be GtG but y'know.

I kind of like them all.

I'm all fours on Year of the Dragon. One of my favorite games of all time.

The second would be Gateway to Glimmer, and then A Hero's Tail.

YotD and DotD

Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer.

- Pretty decent storyline
- Most of the cut scenes are funny to me
- Awesome gameplay
- Best Spyro design for me
- Great levels
- Cool enemies
- Most of the challenges are fun to play
- All the speedways are great

Bad things:

- Graphics (obviously, but I'm not bothered about them too much)
- Moneybags should just have a shop, like in A Hero's Tail, instead of randomly annoying you for gems for stupid things
- Boss fights aren't really challenging enough
- The soundtrack music gets annoying from halfway through the game to the end (from Autumn Plains to Winter Tundra, there are a couple here and there that are alright)
- The levels feel kind of short to me, especially the ones at the beginning

Spyro the Dragon, Spyro: Year of the Dragon & Spyro: A Hero's Tail are other ones that I like.

^ I think the boss battles are somewhat perfect for that game. Buzz was extremely easy, but I used to have a hard time with Spike and the Sorceress (first fight). :3

End Of Game Is Really Cool!
You get to play dark spyro!
It is kind hard(hard is a challenge .I luv challenges!)

Cons:
The arborak dude is REALLY hard to beat(i took about 1 and a half hours trying to figure it out the first time i played it lol!!2 friends helped!)
I HATE trying to defeat gaul ,but i like it when spyro turns into dark spyro!
Not very exciting game lol!!
