dark52, cynder fan has made a topic called "i wos right :)" in the General section, and its about her having the new Spyro game. Now, she has began a giant flame war, and she made another account, pretending to be her brother, and its still contiuning. Could you please ban or either suspend her?

I doubt that this "new game" is even new. Probably just an already released Spyro game that she never seen before. She's claims that it's called SACDR in a topic earlier with the same discussion, but she wouldn't even reveal the full name to us, therefore she's lying.

Yes, she is lying, and I know the topic in the DotD section. I just don't want to join in to the flame wars.

Someone could be really dieing for attention, but its a prick on it. They only want a certain type of attention. This is where a huge problem can form. They act a way and expect everyone to act in the way the imagined. Many times lying about something or acting to be better than they really are, which is sad, people should take pride in being who they are and shouldn't be changed so easily. They should be able to see that its them, and its what makes them unique. However the still lie about something they think everyone will be amazed at. But people aren't the way the person expected to be. Instead, they can see straight through lie and begin questioning the person. Now the response depends on what type of person it is. Some are mature about it and give the person a nice response. This doesn't require that the person offers to be the others best friend and to hold their hand all the way through life. It can be neutral even, and its these types that can make a flame war end quickly, or even avoid a flame war in general. However there is and will always be those who think their so awesome walking out on their high horse and flaming the person. These only cause the person to get mad and feel like the worst person on earth, and can cause a the problem to grow larger. Now it all depends on the person who lied as well. Maybe their stubborn and just won't accept any help what so ever. This can also lead to a growth in the problem. It all depends on who the person is and how people react. Which is one reason I hate hypocrites, but that's off topic. Now the person is offended and just wants to leave it all, so they go and hide behind a lie. This also can lead to the problem growing or dieing away, again depending on the person. If it dies away and they forgive everyone (expect maybe a few idiots who don't deserve it anyways) then its good. But its still better to simply apologize to those who tried to help them and hurt their feelings in return. Either way, its all very sad.

Well that was kind of a pompous rant, going on about the arrogance of people not wanting to admit to a lie. You DO realize that if a lie is so obvious people could just ignore it and never start anything at all, right? And if people are really proud of who they are, flaming would have no effect because they wouldn't get upset about being called dumb or annoying and whatnot.

Regardless of what was said, or the cause of the lie, perhapes we should all just forget the whole issue, forgive cynder fan as it is her first and I think only deliberate offence, and carry on.

Yes, they COULD do that, but how many people actually do it? She still got a lot of replies, keep in mind there's over 3000 users on this site, not all of them are just going to ignore it.

I totally agree with the last part however, forgive and forget, it's her first (major) offense, and she should be given a second chance. Don't make her feel so bad that she feels driven out, it's a horrible feeling...

Yeah it is. I know the point is to voice opinions, but on a topic such as those claiming to have a new Spyro game that does not exist isn't it common sence to know the person is lieing, and therefore ignore the whole thing? It's something almost all of us (including me) needs to learn to do, I think.

I wasn't trying to rant...You really think EVERYONE is gonna ignore it? And besides, if the person pulls off something like that, I doubt they would have been proud of being them
