Favorite Spyro Game? [CLOSED]

I've only played a bit of Enter the Dragonfly but it wasn't very fun. Any way, I think if I could play another Spyro game it would be Legend of Spyro Dawn of the Dragon.

Some people will probably hate me for this, but DotD. I admit it had numerous flaws, but I focused more on the positive... smilie

i liked TEN cause it wuz chalenging.....i think DotD would come in second place on my liking list of spyro games.

Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer, that one is the best for me! smilie

I love all the challenges, levels, characters, voice-overs, music, everything!

Spyro the Dragon comes close.

TLoS: ANB and YoTD, those are my favorite two

Reasons for TLoS ANB: I just plan like it, i can't give a better reason then this

Reasons for YoTD: Good levels, What i'll call "Good boss battles", It's the best out of the originals (i've lost Gateway to Glimmer/Riptos Rage)

Yeah, I know what you mean, sometimes STD was my favourite and sometimes GTG.

YOTD has never been my favourite, because I don't like most of the challenges, and I don't like the characters that you get to play, so that game is kind of ruined but it's still lovely to play.

A Heroes Tail is kind of interesting looking. I wouldn't mind getting that for my Gamecube.

Yes, it is pretty interesting, I used to own it on my PlayStation 2, but the only downfall is, is that there a no portals to levels, all the levels are sort of all in one, and there are so many things to collect and the challenges can be a bit boring. Spyro's design looks kind of freaky.

Good points are that it can be interesting, the graphics look pretty neat, Sparx has a good voice and he isn't annoying like in TLOS, Hunter is more awesome than ever and you can play as Hunter too. Some of the areas are pretty cool too.

The original Spyro is what started the Spyro series, and is very very different from the LoS series.

Even Though It Was Voted Bad, I Would Say DOTD. You Can Play As Cynder And Free Fly. I Found That Very Fun!
My Secound Fav Would ANB. To Me, The Endings Of Those Gamses Were Pretty EPIC.

There are a lot of Spyro games that I have never played before such as A Hero's Tail and the Legend of Spyro trilogy. Out of the games I've played I would say Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer/Ripto's Rage:

This is a great example of how a sequel should be as it improves on the original in every aspect.

- Spyro has many new abilities such as swimming, climbing ladders, head-bashing, ice-skating and more.

- There are mini games and side-quests.

- Boss battles are bad-ass. They are so much better than before.

Well there you go, Spyro 2 is awesome.
