If they kept TLoS Spyro and Original Spyro.
They could change Spyro's name in the LoS-like games and other characters names' such as Sparx, Hunter, etc involved in the Classic games.
For Example: There would be "Original" Spyro games coming out produced from Insomniac or whoever originally created them as well as "New" TLoS games produced by whoever is currently in charge of him. The only thing is, the games that Aren't based off of Original Spyro would have a different name. TLoS Spyro wouldn't be "Spyro". He'd have a different name. So would Sparx, Hunter, ect.

Insomniac would be in charge of Original-Like Spyro Games and Activision or Sierra(whoever is in charge of TLoS) would be in charge of the newer "The Legend Of Spyro-Like" games.

Original Spyo Fans could keep to Original
TLoS Fans could kep to TLoS
Fans of both can go back and forth between both
That way, there wouldn't be arguments over old and new Spyro.

This idea sounded way better in my head because I don't know how to explain what I'm trying to say.

They would be two entirely seperate franchises.
We wouldn't have to eliminate Original or TLoS.

Yeah, I know this just will NEVER happen, but it would be very cool and save a lot of ongoing arguments.
You have to admit it would save so muc bickering. It's not possibe though, is it? I mean, a lot of us can agree that The Legend of Spyro Spyro and Original Spyro are completely different, and so is Sparx and Hunter. Personality AND Design. The only way they'd be recognizable as being smilar is their species.

So...you mean like CoD? Where there is the standard CoD games based on past wars and there's Modern Warfare that focuses on...well... modern warfare? That could work but I doubt it would work out.

Tlos Spyro..is now called...Gary or Spy.

Yup, that would be a great idea, apart from I think that TLOS Spyro, should be just Spyro, we don't want to complicate things too much...

Classic Spyro would be Spyro or Spyro the Dragon and new Spyro would be Legend Of Spyro.

To me, it is a very big deal to change Spyro so much, for me, here are the differences:

Classic Spyro = Awesome

Spinoff Spyro = Ok (Meaning ETD and AHT)

Legend Spyro = WTH??
