Does Dark pay for the site? [CLOSED]

Hello!
Okay, I am new here, and this question didn't seem to be covered in the Help files...(oh, and I hope I'm not annoying anyone with my constant questions. I'm very curious)...

Does the admin pay for the site? I mean, since it's a ".net", usually you have to pay for a ".net" site.

-Am asking since I would like to open a site for Warrior Cats, my favorite book series, and a ".net" is the perfect place to put it- as long as it's free.

Yes. No doubt that the administrator has to pay monthly dues on the site. All the more which makes me wonder what would keep up dark52's enthusiasm to maintain this site (or is it enthusiasm? I dunno, he doesn't really express emotions, I can't tell).

I suggest you to make your site with something like Freewebs to begin with. darkSpyro is probably the most visited Spyro website apart from the official one (which sucks, but everyone knows its there) so its worthwhile for d52 to pay for a better website.

And also, it's amazing; I'd be more than proud if I owned the site. It must've taken so much work.
I guess I'll try Proboards or Freewebs for my site smilie

Freewebs is called Webs now, it's cool cause your site can be www.(name of your site).webs.com which is pretty good. It's a great site builder very easy to use and it costs nothing, so i'd totally recommend it. Proboards is the best thing to make a forum with too.

Yeah but why would you have to IP ban on Webs? Unless you're using their forum/guestbook or whatever. For a free site builder, its fine.

Yeah but just dont make a forum on Webs. Just make the forum on Proboards and link to it on the site.

What I'm saying is, if you don't make a forum on your Webs site, then there won't be any trolls making 'pages of topics at once'. So it's not really a problem.
