im new here so i dont realy know where to post what topic cause so far every topic ive posted everyone seems to be putting me down about exept for one person so i could realy use some help.

If you hover above a board's name it will tell you what you can post there.

I don't see anything wrong with where you're posting your topics, though...

Best advice is to inform yourself of what's going on at the forums. All that takes is exploring and reading various topics before posting something thoughtful. a.k.a. lurking
Just try to:

1) read more than post in the forums, at least for a while, so you won't say stuff that people already know about or would typically get annoyed at
2) think before making a post. Sounds simple, but so many people don't do it, and it just makes themselves look bad.
3) know how to react in various situations. What I mean by this is that many members here often take things the wrong way, and so they get upset pretty often. Don't take everything seriously.

In fact, if you look at my third point, you'll realize that no one REALLY cares about who you are, and so you probably don't have to worry yourself and make a topic like this. There you go.

Also, common sense helps. Don't post something like "your favorite color" in the Video Game area, or "your favorite video game character" in Idle Chatter or Stuff and Nonsense.

Double posting is well...posting two times in a row, like what you've done on this page here. It's generally not recommended to do that.

Yes, that is also true. That's because it's usually not a big deal, but people generally shouldn't do it. Even if you did post twice accidentally, remember that you can always press the "edit" button on your post, then hit "delete".
