How does the site work? [CLOSED]

Hello!
I'm new here, and was wondering how the site works.
The "Sparx" ratings (Red Sparx, blue Sparx, etc) work in the way of the health meter in the old Spyro games, right? A yellow Sparx would be full health- a full member? And red would be the lowest rank, like myself, a new member?

What is the "Gems" below everyone's icons? Are those given to us by admins each time we help, or something?

Oh, and how do you make those little Spyro icons- the ones with Ignitus' and Hunters' heads, etc?

(I meant Windows Internet Explorer 8, sorry for the confusion.)

And Shrazer320, I'm not incompetent. I know I can change the word size and zoom in on the page, but I already have and it's still small. It may not even be small, it could be gigantic lettering, but I have an eye disorder and words are quite small and distorted to me.

Not really. Any time someone thinks saying they have problem without giving the name usually tells me they're lying, mostly because of the horrendous trollers here.

Why don't you just hold judgment until said member has immersed him/herself into the community for a while? If you suspect a person is trolling, don't make the call until a troller trolls.

After you register, $1 is deducted from your credit card. The interest rate of getting gems weekly is about 5%, and increases by 0.5% each week for the member.
