Attention- This story does not in any way fit into TLOS series. Its based of of YOTD, AHT, DOTD. I recommend for you to have played these games before you read so you know the characters and get the jokes. Enjoy!

Part 1/4
Before the prophecies were uncovered, there lived a young dragon named named Ella. Or, at least that's what her mother called her before the wars. Her stepsister called her CynderElla, because of her dark, black scales.
Her stepsister was Ember, a preppy, pink dragon. Her stepmother was Bianca, a soon to be sorceress. Ember and Bianca were both cruel and made Cynder do all of the work.
They all lived in a small, swampy part of a place called Avalar. Hardly anyone lived near them, and seldom had visitors. They were all surprised when a cheetah by the name of Meadow came up to them.
"I have come to deliver a message throughout Avalar." He said. "There will be an Elements challenge in the Valley for everyone. Dragonesses may enter, for the rare, purple dragon will be there as the judge, and chose one from among the best."
And with that he left, leaving them excited and curious. "I wonder what the Valley looks like," Cynder thought aloud. "Or who will win."
"Wait, you're not thinking of going, are you?"Ember asked. " You don't have armor to wear, not to mention an element to compete with."
Confused, Cynder replied, "I can watch. And you have armor. Can't you lend me some?"
"No, why should I let you borrow armor?"
"Because I'm your sister!"
"Barely! And that's hardly a reason!"
Bianca stepped in. "Girls, Girls! Enough!" And it was official that Cynder would not attend.
Later that evening, Ember flew down to the nearby valley, escorted by Bianca, who would cheer her on. Cynder sat next to the river that ran through the swamp. "Oh, how will I ever get there?" She sighed. "I suppose I'll never get to go to things like-"
ZAPP!
Cynder jumped up. "Who's there?I'll, I'll, I'll flame you!" But she couldn't breathe fire. She couldn't breathe any element. She saw a bright light that was floating nearby. She could make out a...
A fairy!
A fairy?

Cool story, mad! i love it! (considering the fact that i HELPED you!) you should write more (even though i know what happens...)

Part 2/4
"Who are you?" Cynder asked. "And why are you here?"
The fairy quickly replied, "Hi! My name is Zoe, and I saw you back there. Anyway, I can give you some armor, and you can go to the competition without your family's knowledge." While she impatiently waited for the reply, she smoothed her yellow dress.
"Um... thank you... but why are you doing this?"
"Well," Zoe said, rapidly. "You looked like you genuinely wanted to go. Since I can do something, I might as well." And with a loud ZAPP! Cynder was fully dressed in armor: she had a helmet, tail piece, and bracers.
"Oh, thank you, Zoe!" Cynder cried. " Now I can go to the competition!" And she was about to leave when Zoe spoke up again.
"Not watch," she corrected. "Join in, trust me." With a wink, and a ZAPP! she was gone.
Cynder didn't understand. Join in? But she went anyway. She found the tunnel that led to the valley of Avalar after a few minutes. When she came out, she gasped.
It was the most beautiful place she had ever seen! The sun was just beginning to set. It was full of trees, flowers, grass, and a bright blue covered it all. Creatures were spilled all over it, on the ground and in the air, trying to get a view of the competition.
Following Zoe's requests, she went into the center, where dragons of her size and all different colors were standing. She had arrived just in time, the fire dragons were starting to line up.
A red-orange dragon named Flame was telling everyone where to stand. Cynder thought she saw Ember flirting while he passed her.
Because she didn't know her Element, Cynder went up to the first stage, fire. She asked a red dragon next to her for advice. " Um, I'm a little nervous. A little help?"
"Well, just think... red. And, uh, dangerous." She replied.
"Alright, thanks."
Finally, it began. At "Go!" everyone blew their fire as best as they could. And although Cynder would have won, because she had done the best out of all of them, it defiantly wasn't fire. It screeched and vibrated, scaring everyone near her.
Oh, it was red. And it was dangerous, considering that it desroyed thre dummies. But it wasn't fire. Not even close
A few laughed, but no one cheered. It was an uncomfortable moment, and Cynder was too embarrassed to join the electricity stage. So while Flame was trying to get the yellow dragons in line, she shrank away from everyone . But the purple dragon stared at her with a strange look on his face...

great story! but nobody is posting on this topic, even though it is soooooooo awesome!it's the best CynderElla(and the first;i can't believe nobody on DarkSpyro[i think] came up with it!!!

Okay, later than expected, but...
Part 3/4
Cynder was trying to be as small as possible, as to not be noticed, when suddenly a loud ZAPP! came from around her. Thinking it was from the electricity dragons, she didn't pay any attention to it.
"Well?" A voice said from behind her. "Why aren't you out there, competing?
Cynder jumped around, but relaxed when she saw who it was. "Oh, hi Zoe. I can't go out there again. Did you see that? I just can do it."
Zoe crossed her arms. " Go out there. Trust me!" ZAPP!
So Cynder reluctantly joined the ice round. She managed to stand next to a friendly looking dragon that might give her some better information. "Any advice?" Cynder asked.
Thinking for a moment, she said, "Try focusing on cold. And white, and blue." "Thanks," Cynder said, gratefully.
And she thought that she did fine. Until she saw that her dummy was just blown over and beat up, not frozen. And her breath looked nothing like the other dragon's ice breath. Again, Cynder sighed and went to go sulk, because by then, the creatures who came to watch the competition were whispering among the crowd.
ZAPP! "Don't you even think about quitting now!"You would have come for nothing if you don't try!"
"But-!" ZAPP! Zoe was gone. Cynder sighed and went up to the line that Flame was making. She would try once more. "Green, earthy." She thought.
And she genuinely tried. But Cynder just couldn't do it. She didn't exactly breath out green bursts or rocks. It almost seemed as if she spat out moss. "But a poisonous moss," Cynder thought, as it melted through the dummy.
The crowd was much louder, and curious. Then, the purple dragon came up and yelled, "Quiet! We have an extraordinary case here. This dragon," he pointed his wing and paw at Cynder, "has dark abilities. They are powerful and very rare!" He turned to Cynder and asked quietly, "There is a fourth element, will you try it? It is shadow, the most powerful because it is used as a shape-shifter."
The crowd grew quiet. Cynder was embarrassed, because of the attention, and didn't really try. But because it came naturally, she saw some shadow. With restored confidence, she shape-shifted into a powerful shadow. A large shadow. Than Cynder came out, and darkness spread everywhere, and then, it was instantly gone.
Nearly everyone cheered. Every dragoness envied her, especially Ember. She stormed off, with Bianca following. Bianca was glancing at a cheetah standing next to Meadow the messenger.
Cynder looked towards Ember and knew she had to leave soon. Besides, it was dark, being close to midnight. Saying goodbye to the Purple Dragon, who introduced himself as Spyro, she took off, flying faster than she'd ever flown before.
"Wait!" Spyro called. He didn't even know her name. But she was already gone. In fact, she had flown so fast that she had dropped one of her bracers. Spyro noticed, and he picked it up. "Whoever can wear this bracer with their armor will surely be my mate." He called Flame over, and they planned to go around all of Avalar the very next day.

Part 4/4!!!!!!
Cynder saw Zoe waiting for her at her home. She impatiently zapped Cynder and the armor was gone." I will return these in good time," she said mysteriously, and disappeared.
Soon after, Ember and Bianca came back. Although Cynder was acting normal and the evidence was gone, they both glared at her suspiciously. They had seen black scales between the armor, and her green eyes.
Later that night, Ember went up to Cynder and whispered, " I know it was you at the competition."
"Me? At the competition? You must be mistaken."
"I saw your eyes. You're eyes give everything away."
Cynder acted as if she hadn't heard.
The next evening, Flame and Spyro made it to the swamp where Cynder was. They were escorted by Hunter, the cheetah Bianca had seen, and Meadow.
As soon as Spyro saw Cynder, he started to walk to her. He, too, recognized her. Cynder looked shyly away. Before Spyro could get to her, though, Bianca caught him and said, "Why don't you come over here, and talk with my daughter, Ember?" And he was taken away. Cynder glared at Ember.
After a moment, she turned away, frustrated. Suddenly a ZAPP! came from behind her. She whirled around, checking to see if anyone had noticed. They hadn't.
"What are you doing here?!"
Zoe crossed her arms. "Why are you over here, when you need to be over there?" She pointed to Spyro. "Oh, and you might need this..." ZAPP! Cynder suddenly had on her armor."Now, go over there!"ZAPP! Zoe disappeared.
As Cynder walked over to the group , Spyro noticed her in the armor and left Ember, who settled for Flame. Cynder had on all the armor on from the night before, except the bracer piece. Of course, it fit perfectly!
Spyro was overjoyed. After searching all day, he had found his dragoness. "What is your name?" He asked.
"Cynder," she replied. "I mean, CynderElla. No, its Ella. Just Ella." And the two flew back to the Valley of Avalar.
The story doesn't end there, though. Ember and Flame were, soon, a couple. And Bianca went with Hunter. So everybody got a happy ending, or beginning, for a while.
But soon, a Dark Master wanted revenge on the world for imprisoning him, and I'm sure that you know the rest...
